Once we figured it out, it was perfect for our needs, but it was a bit of a challenge to out how to set it.

The display is nice and large, and the white numbers are more pleasant to me than another color. It's so nice to have three brightness levels. The unique feature I absolutely LOVE is that when you turn on one of the alarms, the screen will briefly display what time that alarm is set to go off....no guessing or hoping you chose the correct alarm time - especially if one of the two alarms is rarely used. This is a solid alarm clock, and I'm very happy I chose this one!

Easy to read but gentle for a bedroom.

I did a lot of research looking for the right alarm clock. In my area the electricity goes out a lot and I needed a clock that would keep the time on a battery backup if the electricity went out. I also wanted a clock I could see from across a large room and I wanted something simple without the many unnecessary bells and whistles that come with alarm clocks today. The price is unbeatable; I would have paid much more for it. An overall awesome clock!

The only trouble I had was getting the time and alarm set up. I kept holding the set button down instead of just pressing the button until the numbers flashed then adjusting the time and alarm. Once I figured that out it was easy setting it. The only thing that could be different is having separate snooze button and dimmer button. They are basically one button so you have to be very careful when hitting the snooze or you'll hit the dimmer and turn the snooze off. It hasn't cost me being late for work yet but it might one day (knock on wood it doesn't). I like the battery backup that, though the numbers won't show if the power is out, the alarm will still go off.
