Excellent professional product
I bought the Vigor 2765 to replace a Sky ER115 modem router for an FTTC connection. It works flawlessly. I bought it so that I could properly segment my network traffic rather than using the joke "guest" accounts that higher end consumer routers have but rarely work properly. To that end I paired it with a Unifi Wireless Access point and a Netgear managed switch.Only buy this if you are a pro or are prepared to put in the effort to learn how to configure it or you can find someone to configure it for you. The UK Draytek web site has some excellent instructional pages so you are not on your own. But you so have to be prepared to use such resources. The user interface is complex but logical. What I like is sheer number of configuration and tuning options, light years beyond what a consumer router would give you. If you are looking for plug and play, then stick to consumer routers. The Draytek gives you very fine control over which devices on your network can talk to each other or the internet. The 2765 series is clearly aimed at the SoHo market. It does not have the grunt to deal with hundreds of users, dozens of VPNs and VLANs. But it is priced similarly to a higher end consumer router. If you want to run a medium to large enterprise then you will not be using this. You will using network appliances that cost 20 times as muchI think the 2765 a great upgrade over an ISP supplied or consumer router assuming your use case is not online gaming.. The emphasis here is on stability and security rather than raw speed. If you are a gamer then you are probably best served by a consumer router designed specifically with your needs in mind.

Take back control of your network
I bought this in case the ISP router blocked SIP but in the end it's not a problem. Also the SIP application layer gateway on the Draytek doesn't seem to make a difference with the Grandstream ATAOne positive I have noticed is that the VDSL sync is improved on the Draytek vs. the ISP supplied router so I'll probably keep the Draytek anywayI was tempted to get the Draytek modem but opted for this model that includes a firewall.Waiting for the VOIP provider to port the landline number then this will take over as the main router
