Edge of Glory Knife Sharpener

Ego, it's quite small, but don't let that fool you, this little trinket is wonderful! It put a nice sharp edge on a knife that I've never been able to get sharp just drag it through the teeth a few times w/ gentle even pressure and ta-da! A nice sharp glorious edge emerges. And it's a good quality sharp, you could probably shave with it if you knew how to shave w/ a single straight blade. I'm very impressed as by how well it works, the suction cup on the bottom works great, as well so don't worry about it sliding around or coming unattached as long as it's sealed onto a smooth, clean, dry, and flat surface (I had it on a glass table, then on my laptop, any smooth surface will work, apparently but I'm very pleased that it works so well and, I didn't waste my $$$ so if you need a sharp edge you can get a glorious sharp one with the edge ov glory!

I've had several of these little "miracle" sharpeners now. Until now, none of them lasted, or did not work from the beginning. This is a little dynamo. Just pull your knife in the direction of the arrow 3-4 times, pressing down just enough to hear the "grind". It sharpens like those large expensive ones. It tales up no room on your counter, it is tiny, but mighty. I am very happy with this sharpener. Would buy another for a gift. MAK, PA

Ok lets start off by saying its a 3.5 even a 3.75 Its a good knife sharpener but you kinda have to get the hang of it If you do press down hard while "sharpening" the knife it feels like it is scraping the hell out of the knife It requires a more refined touch Even after that though it is best to use the steel sharpening rods after using this product for an even better finish Overall however a good product and I say worth it

This is a great little sharpener. Fits in a drawer and does an excellent job sharpening. If, after a couple years, you think it's worn down it's ability, you can get another one. It's a great value!

Does a good job sharpening my kitchen knives.

The edge of glory went down but NOT in glory. It made my knifes worse. I paid over 14.00 bucks for a product that ruined my knifes that were at least usable. I worth 14 bucks? No not even worth a penny. It was a waste of time, money, and good knifes. I should have read other reviews. So please read, the other reviews. This product is not worth anything from you. Pay a little more and gt a chef choice or even something else, it would be better for you and your knifes.

My Husband is the "knife guy" and sharpens any kind of blade for anyone that asks. He was pretty charmed by the Edge of Glory and talked about it for weeks. He was all happy to finally have it and has decided, though it's not a bad sharpener, it's not as good as some of his others. That said, if you are not a professional sharpening kinda person, and are mainly touching up your kitchen knives, you will probably be very happy with this little sharpener. Some people think you can't sharpen serrated knives with this type of sharpener, you can and it works!

I've had my knife set for 5 years without ever sharpening them (they're made that way). I knew they were getting dull and needed a pick me up, so I decided to give Edge of Glory a try because I "saw it on TV". You have to lightly push, to hard will mess up the blade. I pulled each knife over the sharpener 3 times only, and i could cut straight through a pizza box. no pulling or tugging. I didn't realize how dull my blades were till I went to cut a tomato, and it just slid right through. Love the suction cup on the bottom. The lock makes sure you won't accidentally cut your finger trying to sharpen a knife. Overall very satisfied with this product!
