Q: how do you get the metal and foam tip out of the pen to put in the prefilled cartridge?? Mine isnt easily coming out and I dont want to break it

You don't! Instead, you unscrew the long barrel, which will then separate from the lower portion of the pen. If you want to use a cartridge, you then pull out the bladder converter (which you would use to fill the pen with ink from a bottle). Push the cartridge in until you hear a little 'click' or 'pop,' give the ink thirty seconds or so to soak down into the nib, and it should write like a dream.

Q: I'm interested in the Blue Leopard and was wondering if anyone who has bought that pen can tell me if it's actually blue? The color looks quite purple

It's purple. Not blue. I have had it for 6 months now and I'm disappointed. It looks great, and writes well - for about half hour at a time! After that the ink flow diminishes and line width contracts until the nib goes dry and just scratches the paper. This is so even though the cartridge has ink. I notice that if I keep writing the flow eventually comes back but that gives a very displeasing effect on your page - full-flow writing interspersed with lines of pale scratches. Not good. This pen, even with its good looks, will only get occasional use from me.
