been using this line for 30 plus years and never lost a fish to line break

Excellent mono!
I have used this product on my guide boat for bass, pike and walleyes. It is rugged line. No reasin to fish any other line.

Best Utralight Mono
I have used Berkeley Trilene XT 4lb test for over 30 years now and it's toughness never disappoints. It will stand up to weed abrasiveness where other monofilament will break. Unfortunately as I have aged significantly the clear line tends to disappear from my degraded vision. Will have to use a colored version from now on. Still the best line for my ultralight spinning outfit.

Does not coil after one season
Most brands will begin to coil up and create a knot in your line after a few months. With this brand, I'm able to go two years without a problem. It's worth every penny especially when you don't end up with a 'bird's nest' on your reel from a cheaper fishing line!
