Sommerfeld Tools Rugged Die-cast Aluminum Pocket Hole Jig with two Face Clamps Driver bits Drill and starter screw pack

This pocket hole jig is a great very well built tool. My only beef with this tool is the case. When setup to work with anything bigger than a 1x it makes it so the jig does not fit back into its case and requires a full dismantling and reassembling to store it properly. Seems as though there's enough space to accommodate the larger configuration, just wasn't accounted for in design of the case. The tool 9/10 and that case...a 5/10.

I have used the pocket hole jig several times and I am very pleased, It makes projects a lot easier and the work looks very good and sturdy when finished. I do have one complaint. The bits break very easily, When the first one broke I was told to use a corded drill. One still broke and the replacement bits are expensive. Other than the bits. I love the pocket jig.

As the title says, it is better than i had expected. There are a few things that are worth noting and have been mentioned by a few other reviews but i thought i would state them again. First, this is for 3/4" stock OR 1 1/2" stock, this does not adjust to anything between those. However, you can probably still use the 3/4" guide for 1" stock if you want to. Second, the holes are a little tight at first, once you run the bit though a few times they ride quite smooth, not a big deal as it doesn't seem to damage the bit in the process. Everything is well built, the blocks have a very strong magnet on the back to make clamping easier when not using it with the base. The clamps are great and the drill bit is very sharp. would buy again for sure!

Compared to Kreg's jig, it is far more superior, as it is not made of "plastic", but aluminum! And the price is $40. less than the Kreg Jig. Would recommend to anyone!

Recently purchased this pocket jig and used this jig on several projects. Very pleased with the results it produced. It worked with ease and perfect results, I was impressed with its heavy Aluminium design and quality not nylon like the Craig . Also like being able to seperate the guides and use independed of the jig. I would recommend this jig and would buy again with out hesitation, It will last a life time. Aluminum construction

This tool seemed like a solid value but the one I received had some aluminum busted on it. The box was damaged by the vendor. The clamps were nice and I was impressed overall but the aluminum seemed like it would be easy to break.
