The video doorbell worked well initially, until our internet provider upgraded our modem. When we tried to re-install the video doorbell, we could not connect it to our new 2.4G wifi network (different network name and password, but same provider and speed). Apparently this is a security feature...We were advised to ask the manufacturer (through the device app) to reset our device. THEY NEVER RESPONDED which effectively makes the video doorbell useless, as it will not connect to our network or phone. WARNING - DO NOT BUY. Manufacturer will not respond and seller cannot help.

All of my smart home items are in Smart Life (Tuya) so I really wanted my Doorbell to be in the same ecosystem.I tried a battery unit but didn't like that I frequently had to charge it, it seems like a silly step since a traditional doorbell has ~30v already there.Pro's:- Plug directly into doorbell wires - no batteries needed!- Decent Quality video/photo- Alert is customizable - I like the included speaker - way better than the house included doorbell chime- Gives you a smart life alert with a photo (in Smart Life message center)- Automations can be setup around device events (example: set other cameras to record when motion doorbell detected)Con's:- It's not an American company, so sometimes verbiage and words aren't as clear as they could be.- The interface is decent only- Communicating through the doorbell doesn't always workEither way, for a cheap doorbell I'm pretty happy. My wife likes it too - double bonus.

So far so good, it took me the longest time connecting to wifi and no one in the reviews mentioned to make sure you are selecting the right device when trying to connect to WiFi. That was my issue. I did not hit the right kind of smart doorbell so the process took way longer than it should. Also. If you are not going to connect door bell to your actual doorbell. You will need a usb cord that is long enough to reach an outlet (you will have to supply the charge port)..The actual camera so pretty clear, motion detection is very good I get alerts all the time. The app is easy, night vision is pretty good. Bang for your buck. I just wish the back had a slot where the usb cord could come out and still close tightly.

Installation - easy, everything complete in the box, camera integrates with Smart Home app (Google Home) which is great, cameras lense is a bit "fish eye" distorted looking but very clear, and the motion detection is great, great night vision too. You can select an area to detect motion in your camera view...nice. However, the power connector on the door bell ringer inside is broken apparently inside. Wont work at all. I've contacted the seller...no response so far. Uugghh.Updated- The seller responded and is sending a replacement door bell ringer. Thank you.

Best decision to install this bell. I live on a second floor and have to come all the way down when anyone rings the bell. This saves me the effort plus the motion tracking is a great security feature. It uses the Tuvya app and connects to my google home!

Good quality and price. Just need better instructions. A bit confusing, unclear due to manufacturing translation and assumptions.
