I love this Presto!
Over the years I’ve had several Presto pressure cookers. My old 4 qt aluminum one was over 50 years old and the aluminum was getting pitted. It needed a new gasket, which I could get. My stainless steel 6 qt cooker (almost as old) needed a part which was not available. So I decided to buy a new one and chose 4 qt stainless steel. I am no longer cooking for a big family. I like that this one has the extra handle opposite the two locking handles for extra stability when lifting. My old 4 qt didn’t but the 6 qt did.The size is perfect. I want to suggest that anyone having trouble putting the top on—practice with the cooker empty before trying to cook something. After four times taking is slow with an empty cooker I could see just where it needed to line up and it slipped on and sealed perfectly.I did not want an electric pressure cooker. This one was perfect for me and it looks like Presto is still making a quality product. Even though this one is made in China.

All I wanted was the pot bottom
I am afraid of a Pressure Cooker, but I wanted the 4 quart, thick bottomed, pot. I like it. It is very nice. I specifically wanted stainless steel for durability. My personal issue is I found it harder to put together than I think it should be. NOTHING WRONG with the pot itself. The directions were not as clear as I think they could have been. The pressure cooker was well boxed, nicely packed. My issue is the directions didn't explain as well as I think they should have.

IT WORKS!
The media could not be loaded. I've just replaced my 10 year old 6 qt Presto pressure cooker for this 4qt baby and as usual I'm satisfied! Just make sure you assemble this pot correctly and follow all the instructions!

Bad service
The product is as good as a presto pressure cooker can be. Does the work beautifully. Only draw back is that the lid don’t close smoothly. The 4 liter is very tiny, as you can’t put too much food in the pressure cooker since it needs the empty space for pressure and safety. I reached out to the seller for an exchange to a larger size. They said, “ sorry, we do not accept returns or apologies.” I feel scammed.

Falla en valvula de caucho a los 3 meses de compra
Esta olla adquirida traia la valvula de caucho de la tapa floja x falla en el tamaño del orificio donde iba colocada. A los 3 MESES de adquirida el proveedor NO QUISO CAMBIARLA sino reemplazar la valvula… y apenas 2 meses mas tarde ESTALLO INUNDANDOMI COCINA Y EL TECHO!!! AMAZONDEJO EL PROBLEMA A CONSIDERACIONDEL PROVEEDOR. Hoy he vuelto a comprara a ver si sale defectuosa de nuevo! Lauso 2 veces al mes p hacer frijoles y/o lentejas exclusivamente, desde hace 42 años y es la 1a vez q estas ollas son de pesimacalidad!
