Katie the Catsitter

I loved this so much! It was adorable and fun and has SO MANY incredible cats! My own cats might have been a little jealous of how much I loved this.Seriously, read it!

This book is absolutely wonderful. I loved all of the cats and their quirky personalities. There was also a great storyline as well. Katie is trying to save money to go to summer camp with her best friends. She wants to do odd jobs to earn the money herself rather than accept the free voucher from her friend's mom. She has to learn to think on her feet to deal with all of the cats and their unique personalities and talents, in doing so she learns about herself as well. There was also a lot of humor in this story and I found myself laughing out loud at several points, mostly with whatever the cats were doing.Highly recommend this graphic novel.

My almost eight-year-old LOVED this book. She tore through it in just three days. This is HUGE for her since she hasnt been a big reader despite all of our attempts to get her develope a love of reading. Whelp, this one did it. And I couldn't be happier!The story is super cute and the artwork is awesome. My animal-loving daughter very much identified with the protagonist immediately. And she giggled so much at all the crazy anitcs the cats get into. Definitely recommend!

Katie wants to go to camp and needed money. Helping carry groceries and house-cleaning just weren’t cutting it. She was about to give up when a cat takes a liking to her. Hey, how about cat-sitting? A house full of cats! Hundreds and hundreds of cats. A cat that can order pizza? A cat that can use the toilet?Story had nice, lovely illustrations. Very fun and funny! Loved the caricature style of it! Full of wild and catty adventures.

My daughter enjoyed this book a lot and re-read it multiple times.
