A reread for me. Personally I could stay in the circle of Greek life and never leave. I hope others will enjoy them.

There were some quality issues with the edition I received. Some of the ink was smeared and hard to read on several pages. The content of this books is absolutely hilarious. Aristophanes was a comedic genius. If you're looking for a good laugh, pick up one of his plays.

Was hoping for a cheap and accessible version of the plays but this is almost unreadable. There's typos, no explanation of any of the context, no line numbers and the translation is clunky at best. Worth buying a Penguin copy rather than this tripe

Great book to understand the real meaning of comedy. It is a book to study the origins of the Greek Comedy.
