I think this is the best surge protector I have ever had.
So, this time a review about the Tower Extension Lead with 8 Outlets and 5 USB . Somehow I already bought Extension a surge protector with additional USB connectors. And I liked that filter for its functionality. I decided to get one more Extension filter. The previously purchased product had only 2 USB connectors and four sockets. This turned out to be not enough. Another inconvenience was that the surge protector lay underfoot all the time. Therefore, I settled on a standing vertical model from Sameriver. It is much more comfortable than the one that will lie constantly under your feet). In this model, the switch button is slightly different from conventional filters. Here they are presented as switch buttons. The downside is that this button does not light up when turned on. Therefore, from a distance, you may not understand whether the filter is turned off or not. Perhaps this is the only drawback of this filter. But I found that when the filter is turned on, a not very bright and noticeable indicator light comes on in front of the USB connector line. It lights up green. I very much approved of it. The body itself is made of good plastic, in the shape of a tower. Has 8 input connectors, two on each side and 5 USB connectors. I think this is the best surge protector I have ever had. If there are any power outages, it will immediately convert the electrical voltage and prevent many gadgets from burning out. By the way, the case was not originally designed for wall mounting. There are no holes here at all. Can only be placed on a table or on the floor. From the point of view of the possibility of charging 13 gadgets at the same time, this is a very profitable option. Recommend.

Smart, compact and useful
The curse of modern life is that all (most) good things come with power leads, and devices usually outnumber sockets by about 3 to 1. Meaning that we tend to collect multi-gang extension leads. When trying to rationalise the rats nest of cables in our living room (TV, amp, multiple game consoles, PVR and assorted other bits) I wanted to do away with having two 6-way leads. I'd found a 12-way tower with some USB sockets, but these things are usually designed for offices, and so it was in the traditional black, which did not blend in well with the walls and led to some domestic disharmony.I was pleased, therefore, to find this tower which comes in a much more subtle white / grey colour scheme. With eight sockets it caters for my needs, and has five USB sockets too - useful for plugging phone / tablet cables etc into. And best of all, it has a 5m lead, so no more inadvisable daisy chaining .So if you need up to eight sockets (each bank of two has an individual power switch) with a small footprint, that will blend into a domestic setting, then look no further!

Works, but feels cheap and fragile.
The power block is deceptively light. So much so that when I picked it up I had to visually inspect it to determine if it was empty. However, It works, and is space saving. The charging's ok. Attached 2 Extern HDD's, Lamp, laptop, PS3, Drive Caddy, Network Switch and A\V Receiver (all on) without anything tripping. 1 Socket had an initial struggle to accept a plug, but since then it's been fine. TBH, the lightness really bothers me as the block feels fragile, however, I just hope the components are up to the job for Surge and Overload protection as that's all that matters. The long cord is VERY useful and aesthetically it's adequate, though I would've loved this model in Black.

The perfect tower extension lead
I made an order on Tuesday evening and it arrived on Thursday morning. I really appreciate that because I expected delivery to come next Tuesday.I bought this to replace my old traditional extension lead.Compare with the traditional one, I have to say this tower extension lead is beautiful, tidy and neat. It also save more space. This one is exactly the same as the picture and what it is described, there is 4 independent control switches in each row of the power panel, 8 power sockets and 5 USB charging ports. 5M is the main point I bought it, because it is long enough for what my family needed.Highly recommend it especially for the design, the colour, the price and the practicality.

Fast charging and compact
Realty happy with this extension lead. Wasn’t as big as I thought it was doing to be so glad it’s the right size and the most amazing thing is the fast charging. I didn’t expect my phone to charge as fast as it did with the usb charging slot. Really impressed with this extension tower!!

Value for money and simple to use
I was looking for the extension cable and I found this item and I found this is much more than a simple power strip1. It has USB built-in so you can charge all your phones using this, no need to get additional plugs2. multiple plugs available so I can connect my laptop, printer, telephone and night lamp in just one go on my desk and it looks clean and tidyI am very happy with the design and price, I am just hoping that it will last long, as I am getting disappointed with some products as they tend to stop working but this looks a good quality, however only time will tell

USB sockets are not reliable
I've tried to use the USB sockets to power 2 devices, one a google speaker that needs 2A and another much lower power PIR sensor. Both devices appeared to be initially powered up, but when I came back later the power was off, I'm unclear if the USB sockets just switched off or if they are not functioning at all, but either way I wouldn't recommend this if the USB sockets are important to you.

Fanastic
With so many things needing USB to recharge I went for this and was really pleased with the design and functionality of this item. Each bank of 2 sockets can be independently switched on/off and with 5 USB connectors more than enough for phones and camera wires. The length of the cable was a bit too long at home at 4.5 metres but I've got that tied up. Having said that when I needed to take an extension cable to a local history exhibition I was putting, this was the extension lead I took for the projectors and computers to be attached too. Worked a treat!!
