Fan light switch
Wired up just like the one I replaced. Cheaper than the original one even though it was same company. Old one had brass plates new was aluminum.

Smooth operation
Best pull chain switch I've ever used. Had to replace the switch for the old kitchen light fixture over the sink. The design of the lamp fixture requires the chain to make a 90 degree angle when it comes out of the switch. Tried at least 3 different light switches from local big box stores and online and while they all worked they were hard to operate. Made you feel like the switch was going to break when you pulled them. Tried lubricating the chain where it goes through the switch collar or even putting the chain through a small piece of Teflon tubing, all to no avail. This one works nice and smooth.

Saved my replacing a fan.
The light switch wore out on my fan.Should I replace this fan? No, try Amazon, I searched by product number and found it.It was an easy fix.I would give five stars, but it is plastic. The Chinese products we buy are not meant to last, a good brass switch would last longer.

Issue after a few months.
Bought this to replace a non working one. With in a few months this one broke as well. I can still turn on and off, but I have to push the chain up in the unit to get it to "click". That way I can re-pull it to turn it on/off.So it's 50% broke atm.
