These leads fit perfectly in my 0.5mm Pentel pencils. No issue whatever of them falling out. These are soft, dark leads. The 3B in particular is extremely soft and will be consumed quickly. Not a complaint about the product. That's just how it is with soft leads. But you should be aware if you intend to use these for regular writing, the 3B is probably too soft for most people. With moderate pressure you can expect to get about 1.5 meters of line from 1 mm of 3B lead. The B and 2B don't wear nearly as quickly.I bought these for use in some art projects and they were just what I wanted.

I use this led for everyday use, makes it so much easier to write. The quality is great and this is the second time I ordered it.

These are thinner than .5 mm and just fall out of the standard .5 mm pencils

Good selection of the next stage darker/softer leads beyond the standard HB. Still deciding what I like best. You know the darkness/softness/wear/break-ability tradoffs are real so this is a good place to start if you are serious about mechanical pencil lead. These represent the next generation in an old technology. Great for fine art & drafting
