This coin is great as a novelty gift. It's a replica of a digital crypto currency. To be fair, how do we really know what a crypto currency should look?The coin is made quite well, although I've dropped 1 star as it has a sharp edge on the one side. It's not that sharp that it'll cut you, but it's certainly noticeable.This comes in a basic clear plastic case. It offers some protection, but isn't anything that fancy.Overall, if you're after a novelty coin and are into crypto currency, then this is a good momento for you.

I was intrigued to get this coin as I do like to collect actual coins. This is not an actual coin as it has no monetary value as such. It will be of limited value to coin collectors as it is not from any country. I have my doubts as to whether it will gain in value because it not real money and not currency. So I suppose its value will be to those that collect shiny coin looking items? I am not sure of its collectable value, if it has any. Onto the coin itself. It looks lovely and comes in a protective plastic container which fits perfectly.. It looks well made. It is a shiny gold colour. It is about 4 cm diameter so fairly big. The design on both sides is interesting. Not sure I really see the point in it but it does look nice and it does have an interesting design.

I can't believe this is priced at just £5.99 to be honest.When it showed up, I was amazed at both how heavy it is and how bright the gold plating is.If you are interested in Bitcoin/blockchain then you will be familiar with the Ethereum technology; Ether is the largest cryptocurrency after Bitcoin.The design is very nice. I really liked the attention to detail with the numbers, logos, text, patterns, etc. Everything seems really nicely made. The only thing I would say is that unlike many other cryptocurrencies that have standardised designs for their coins, Ethereum coins have had a number of different looks over the years through digital imagery - so make sure this is the one you're most keen on before buying.I'm not sure this item is especially collectable in the sense that it's unlikely ever to be worth much more money than you paid for it, but I think if you're the kind of person who is really into Bitcoins and Digital Currencies and wants to start a collection or feel this is an important time in history that you want to remember then it's actually a pretty neat thing to look at in a display case. This is especially true if you own some of the currencies on the platform itself. If Digital Currency flops, it'll be fun telling kids about the idea one day and if it takes off and real coins no longer exist it'll be fun explaining the irony that you have a physical coin version of something that was actually an alternative to real coins and was always meant to be entirely digital!I think the little plastic case that it comes with is great as it keeps it from getting scratched until you display it or you may even want to keep it in there.Honestly, I can see myself having 8-10 coins like this and making a little display of them. I think it'll look awesome. As I said, I can't believe it's priced so well. The quality is fantastic and the detail on the coin itself is great.
