I bought these in 2018 and have worn them a lot since. The black velvet has worn, so I’m going to purchase another pair

I was looking for this specific shoe with the single clear band. I wanted them a suede material but I needed these for an event.First impression - they’re super cute! The fact that they weren’t suede like I originally wanted really went out the window once saw them. LOL.I sized down according to review. I am pretty much a steady 6.5 in pretty much EVERYTHING. However, I got these in a 6. I can’t really compared them to the 6.5 but I can imagine that they’ll fit a little less snug but I’d imagine that they’d be loose to walk in so it definitely beneficial to size down. I think it’s just my anxiety with sizing down because I like to have wiggle room (not that I have any in my usual size - mostly in reference to flat sandals).I threw them on quickly to break them in for the weekend because I don’t want to have to deal with it at the event, honestly. And I can report that they are very comfortable heel. The band is a little tight at first, but Molds more to your foot once you break them in.To piggy back off of previous reviews, I would have to agree with the width of the heel. They are definitely not for wider feet. I struggle with my left foot always swelling (accident that involved surgery) and I can tell that my left foot will call it quits before my right one does because the heel isn’t that comfortable because it makes your foot feel...unstable?I highly recommend this shoe to anyone who doesn’t have wide feet and recommend to size down!**Disclaimer: this is an honest, unpaid review. I have a wide foot and I was able to wear my regular size. I did feel the strap was a little snug but I felt I needed to wear it tighter to secure the shoe on my foot. Once I got to the table, I loosened it a bit. But I thought they were cute and wore fairly well.

(DISCLAIMER: This is a totally honest and unpaid review - I'm just really excited about these shoes lol):I AM OBSESSED with these heels!! I am an incredibly clumsy person (I only ever wear heels if they're wedges, short block heels, or very RARELY if they have a platform), because I'm basically a safety hazard to myself and anyone around me lol. But these are FOUR inches tall, don't have a platform, and yet they're sturdy AF, comfortable AF, and easy AF to walk in. I have them in both black and nude, and have worn each of them out dancing 3-4 times now, and didn't fall once! No blisters, no pain, no issues at all. AND I didn't need to break them in at all.I am prone to tendonitis and foot cramps, and I have flat feet, so these heels are basically a god send. I think I might have to add some gel inserts because the heels look like the arch may flatten out over time, but I also put a lot of pressure on the arch since I have flat feet - just something to note.I recommend these to everyone! They're classic and chic, comfortable, and will make your legs look hottttt. Last note, I bought them in half a size smaller than usual (I wear a 7, bought 6.5) because of the previous reviews, and I'm glad I did!

The heel is comfortable despite it being a tall height.

I ordered 2 sizes because some reviews were saying to order half a size down. I am a pretty much a true 6 in most shoes so I bought both 5.5 and 6 and I can see why some people would prefer the half size down. I tried on the 5.5 first and my foot fit pretty perfectly but a tad snug around the toes. So I thought that I would have to return the 6. But then I tried on the 6 (just for kicks-heh) and I actually felt more comfortable in the 6. Seeing that these are pretty high heels and my job requires me to sometimes stand for periods of time, I could imagine my feet getting tired and/or swollen and I think the 5.5 would get tight after a while. So length wise 5.5 fits better (probably because it is also an open toe) but width wise, I personally stayed true to my size. I don't think I will have a problem with my feet slipping forwards. If I do, I can always put in clear insoles which I do for all of my heels anyway. The nude color and block heel is also great. I walked around a few blocks in my neighborhood and felt really supported but also fashionable. I think I am going to buy this in more colors!

I bought these a week prior to the event I needed them for since this style was sold out at stores like Target and such.I have to say I love how they look, the velvety/suede material. These went perfectly with my red dress and to make it even better, they fit very comfortably as opposed to another similar pair I wore last year. I am a size 8 and the size 8 in this shoe was perfect. You'll kind of always have that slight space in the back of your heel as your foot is moving/adjusts in this type of shoe as you move but it's not bothersome.I was satisfied with the quality and even had to briefly walk through some wet snow in them to and from the car and they survived! Granted, I wasn't looking for a super expensive brand name pair.I cannot wait to pair them with more outfits and dresses!Ps I wore them the entire night, which entailed dancing and lots of walking. Your foot will most likely throb or be tired from being locked into a heel for a long time when you take them off but I didn't feel like I had to take them off right away because of uncomfort during my 4 plus hours event. The height of these shoes is good enough that you're not uncomfortable walking in them. Definitely a good purchase in my opinion.
