Payback (Tank Rizzo): A Novel

I've got this in hardback and bought the Kindle version for holidays. It's a superb book.Tank and Pearl are retired cops, pensioned off due to injuries. They still work as Tin Badges (retired cops looking at cold cases) with a group of associates.Their investigation of the unsolved rape and beating of two women turns out to be more involved than expected, and is further complicated by the arrival of Tanks' recently orphaned nephew

Although probably not up to his previous standards - how do you surpass Sleepers etc - nevertheless a fine read.Undoubtedly, with Don Winslow, one of the US's finest.

Lorenzo, writes as if you are there. Every book he has written are amazing 👍
