The opening is in the back?? I thought this was going to be a standard piece where a hoop is clasped with the ball in the front. It hurt so bad trying to get it in and I’m very mad about the lack of pictures showing how the earring functions... this picture is how red my ear became

It was a pain to put in at first. I really love the look but wish it had more clasp or something in the back. My ear is a bit tingly and sore from trying to put in the ear piece from my excitment. So I'll leave another update in a week. I'm usually not sensitive to earrings so we'll see

Very cut but the opening is where it should be sitting on the hole in your ear. That means if you do not get it closed all the way it needs to be then it’s ver uncomfortable.

Earring is cute but it’s a huge pain in the ass to put in. It took forever to get in because it’s so cheaply made you’re scared to open “twist” the metal too much without breaking it. Than once you have barely slid it over your ear you have to manage to slip it through your cartridge. AFTER about 35 minutes of that mess (I’d already done put it in from the back of my ear accidentally once and barely managed to get it back out before getting it in from the front… which you have to do to have the bead show from the front…smh) you gotta try and figure out how to close the GD thing without either accidentally slipping it back out of your ear or breaking it. Well mine is as close as it is going to get to being shut and I pray my ear doesn’t end up getting hooked on a pillow or blanket tonight. At least I’ll look cute doing it though right?Should have been $2, manufacturer still would have made $1.50.UPDATE—— Worst earring I have ever purchased. Does not stay shut and hurts like hell to get out after the battle of getting it in. You may as well grab a bead and some thin wire and shove it through your ear.
