Divide+ Push 425 lm LED Lantern, Black

Great emergency lantern! I love that you can twist the base to discontinue contact with the batteries, so they will not drain or corrode while you are not using it. That was why I chose this model. I don’t use the lantern often but when I need it, it is crucial that the batteries are not drained. It is bright enough to chase the gloom out of a large room, when the power goes out. I used this when we lost power and was able to do collages with the kids, turning a potentially scary event into a fun one.

I absolutely love this lantern. We camp a lot in the summer and I have noticed that the super bright led lanterns blow out your vision, kind of blinding you if you’re nearby or trying to use it while walking. This one has a wonderful yellowish light, not the harsh blue light everything seems to have now. I don’t feel like I’m under an interrogation light and I can see while I’m near it and while walking with it! Gives off great light and ambiance and lasts a long time. I bought another! Highly recommend.

This is a great lantern if you want a normal, diffused glow that won't blind you when you're playing cards, hanging out when camping, etc. We have other smaller Etekcity lanterns that are VERY bright and not at all diffuse (those are good if you're carrying them around to see in front of you). But this one is for staying put and hanging out. Note that it's on the heavier side with 3 D batteries, but you'll get a lot of time before needing to change batteries. The "Battery lock" feature is not useful to me and just makes it a bit more of a pain to open and shut. But overall a nice light!

This lantern is very well made, easy to turn on and off, and puts out two levels of light, the highest being sufficient to light a 9-person tent. The light output is also diffuse, so it's not as harsh as a lantern without a diffusing outer window like this one has. A friend saw it on our last camping trip and is planning to buy his own for emergency use.

We've had several of these lanterns and keep them handy for power outages due to hurricanes and tropical storms. I put one by every bed, in the kitchen, and a couple extra in the hall closet. They'll sit for months unused and the power saver feature seems to work, as we've not had to replace batteries yet! I like them so much, I bought a few for my daughter and her roommates. I bought the first ones at Target, but they didn't carry them any more and I couldn't find them at any local store. It took a while, but I found them on Amazon and was thrilled! No other lantern would do!

This is a pretty good LED lantern, with plenty of run-time and "adequate" illumination. It takes 3 D-cells so there's lots of juice. When we used it, it never ran out, although the longest outage we had was probably no more than 6 hours. The battery compartment is finicky to open and is the weakest link in this system. I knocked the lantern off my desk and it dropped straight down the carpeted floor from a height of about 32 inches. I noticed bits of plastic and the bottom no longer fitted well and even when I held it in, the light was dead. I think the weight of the 3 D cells was just too much for the flimsy plastic latch they designed to hold the bottom. No repair was possible so it's gone into the circular file. I had always associated Coleman with a quality product, but this has convinced me otherwise. Pros: - good power source - longevity - decent light levels Cons: - Cheap plastic construction - Poorly designed battery case - far too delicate for daily use Recommendation: Move along, this is not the droid you are looking for.

I have two of these and have ordered some for local family members. These are great to have around for when the power goes out. They give off lots of light. The best part, for me, is the Battery Lock system. I don't have to worry about corrosion or the batteries draining. I've had these about 2-3 years now and haven't had to replace the batteries yet.

I love the concept of this little lantern, that the batteries are stored within it but not connected until you twist the battery compartment. Keeping those batteries disconnected reduces the potential for damaging battery corrosion. It works on one set of batteries for hundreds of hours when using its lowest output setting. I keep it stored in the living room closet for unexpected power losses, but I imagine it could be great for camping too. I'm very happy with it.

Después de probar varias linternas, vi esta en Amazon a un super precio y definitivamente una excelente opción para iluminar el camping, como un plus es muy ligera a pesar de usar 4 baterías D y el sistema de protección contra derrames, así como la autonomía de las mismas hacen de esta linterna una buena opción, ilumina muy bien en un rango de 5mts. a la redonda en campo, y es ideal para algún apagón en casa ilumina sin problemas una habitación de 5 x 4mts.

Great product. Compact and multi functions. The battery saving mode helps to lengthen the battery lifespan without the worries of battery leaking.

Coleman makes a: - Divide Plus 425 (the one matching the listed image), or - Vanquish Push 450 (which is a red and black lantern) There is no such thing as a Divide Plus 450. I was sent a Vanquish Push 450 when I ordered the above product. The Vanquish Push has a much less frosted cover, so you see a more pin-point light source.

Excellent lantern. Works well and lights up a fairly large area.. the option to disengage the batteries when not in use is a deal maker for me. I will purchase more as gifts.
