Mad libs is a family friendly educational fun party game.If you don't like party games or Mad Libs this game isn't for you. However, if you like both you'll enjoy this game. This game is quite simple yet fun.What Is In The Box?200 Word Cards42 Sentence CardsSet UpShuffle word deck and deal each player 7 cards.Shuffle sentence deck ans place in center of table with of word deck.How To PlayFlip over a sentence card and read it out loud.Each player needs to use cards from their hand to fill in the sentence.Each player place choosen cards face down in the front of them.Each player takes a turn reading reading the sentence with their chosen words.Players then vote by pointing on the count of 3 to the person who had their favorite sentence.The player wth the most votes then takes the sentence card and flips it over as a trophy in front of them ending the round.Once a player collects 3 trophy cards they win the game.At the end of each round discard all used words and draw your hand back up to 7 cards. (Players my discard any additional cards during this phase)This game is extremely fun. Along with helping younger kids with the understanding of grammar.

Cool in concept, but not so great in practice. I found when playing it that the word cards didn't make for many wild or wacky combinations with the sentence cards, and that even drawing a full hand of cards didn't give you enough options to fill in all the blanks like you're supposed to.Cards Against Humanity: Family Edition does a much better job of being a zany fill-in-the-blanks game.

Good game for 8-12 year olds. Any older and they tend to try and be inappropriate with it.

Surprised at how much my 9 and 11 yr old granddaughters loved this game!

I love Mad Libs but the game could be better. Only played it once but not super easy to make funny lines and not super easy for 7-8 year olds because of the word choices.
