These braces are designed to be screwed into the wooden side rails of the bed. They provide a lot of support, and don’t have the bounciness that some bed frames do. Here you can see a completely assembled rail with the parts for the next. The legs are attached with rivets and swing down. When they are in the correct position you can bolt them in place so they won’t collapse. The glides adjust by screwing them in or out, and the legs have extensions that can be bolted on in three positions for different height beds. The basic brace is for a queen bed and has two legs. For the king size there is an extension with another leg that can be bolted on. The queen version has a shorter extension without a leg to accommodate wider frames. For our bed we bolted the leg extension at the shortest position and it fit very well.

First of all, let me just say this is a legit review. I wonder sometimes whether or not people are paid for reviews or they are the retailer who poses and puts out the post. I purchased this when I was trying to set up my storage bed for a sleep number bed. I had to place 2 heavy adjustable bases on the slats of my bed which would just not withstand that amount of weight. I found these on Amazon and I ordered them. The seller, on his own, contacted me to make sure that this product was going to work for me. He called me on my phone, I returned the call, and this guy ended up being the best customer service person ever. He walked me through the process and made sure that everything would work. I can’t speak highly enough about this company and their customer service. It was above and beyond. Not only that, but the metal and the support system is fantastic. I ended up putting three-quarter inch plywood on top of These cross rails, (2) 135 pound Adjustable bases, and then the mattress and it held it like it was nothing. Great product, great company, and amazing customer service. Highly recommend. You will not be disappointed

So far the steel slats have been great. I have a zero clearance adjustable base along with a sleep number bed and I was concerned about the overall weight they would bear on my wooden frame, so the steel slats add peace of mind considering they have a weight capacity of at least 1200 lbs. However, I will add that the best part about this whole process was the customer service. When I placed my order the store owner Doug called me personally to ensure all measurements and specifications were in order before they shipped the product, as to avoid a return and any resulting shipping costs for me. Doug was extremely helpful and patient. He even routed the store calls to his personal cell phone in case I had any questions regarding my order and the customizations I needed to make in order to successfully install the slats on my storage bed. To go a step further, my order was stuck in Saint Louis for multiple days with no signs of progression. While this was an issue with Fedex, Doug and Mike, a store rep, were very responsive with my calls and concerns, and willing to ship a new product, in the event it was lost with FedEx. Overall, the product is great and the customer service was even better.

It feels so.good to have our bed back. We ordered a bedroom set from one of those big name furniture companies and two weeks in the thing collapsed on us. Turns out the feet and slats they used weren't installed correctly and they just finally buckled under our continued use. We waited THREE WEEKS trying to get ahold of their Customer Service to correct the issue but never heard back. Deciding I was tired of sleeping on the couch I caved and ordered this. I wish I would have ordered sooner. Our bed doesn't make a single sound and I feel safe and secure sleeping in my own bed again. The team over at STLBeds was great in helping me make sure I got what I needed for my bed. The slats were easy to install and fit perfect. Hopefully I don't have this issue again with wooden bed slats.. but if I do I know where to go.We have a king bed and use bunkie boards instead of a boxspring to make our bed sit lower to the ground for our dogs.. these slats and feet still worked perfectly for our setup. Highly recommended.

Phenomenal product !!!! Four (4) solid steel supports (rails) with three (3) support "feet" for each rail !!!! Solid as a rock. Very easy to assemble. You will NEVER have to worry about your Queen, King or California King sized bed sagging or not properly evenly supported. Nothing else like this on the market. Superior in all ways. HOWEVER, the package it comes in is HEAVY (40-50 lbs) so bring two people to carry it !!! This is the REAL deal in bed support !! A bit pricy, but in the end well worth it when you consider the total support provided and it will last FOREVER.

I knew as soon as I picked up the box that they were NOT kidding when they called these supports 'Heavy Duty". Not only is the company a true pleasure to do business with, but the product is definitely superior. I was able to easily install the supports by myself on a King Size bed, and not only do they fit perfectly, but after only one night, I was able to detect a HUGE difference in the amount of support provided to my platform bed as opposed to the failing wood slats that came with it. I'm only kicking myself for not purchasing them sooner!

We ordered the first support system from STLbeds and they were awesome. They called to verify the specs of the bed and the use. I had a question and they followed up. Awesome to deal with. The product is great and we absolutely love with the support we got.However DRS Bed distribution is a different story. I needed another frame for another bed. I hit the buy again button. For some reason Amazon fulfillment had DRS beds distribution send it. They never call and they only sent half the order. I tried to find a way to contact the seller but the only way I found was to hit the return button. Now I am shipping the half order back to DRS beds which is a pain and ordering directly from Stl beds. Sheesh what a pain!
