Nice tomato plants, Big Boy
These tomato plants came in perfect condition. They were delivered May 30, and the 4 plants were in plastic cups that were packed in 2 plastic containers that held 2 plants each . They were securely packed in a box. It is June 12 and the plants are healthy and growing well after planting in pots. They have tripled in size and are growing in tomato cages. I live in Florida, so I have them in a shade cloth covered space. Bonnie plants does a great job shipping and send nice quality plants.

Arrived VERY a dry and limp
I have excellent luck with this grower, however, today we received the rest of our order (a first part of the order was 100%) and the yellow peppers and Beefsteak tomatoes were so dry and wilted, I am hoping they will recover. Watered and put into sunlight and will need to wait and see.Update: unfortunately, I was informed that none of the four beefsteak survived the transit time to Vermont. I don’t want a refund, but like a replacement so we can plant somewhat on schedule. Many thanks.Update: As always, Bonnie Plants are wonderful to deal with. A replacement item is being sent. The rest of my original order, assorted peppers, tomatoes, herbs, basil (a basil is incredible) are all dark green and screaming to be planted in the next week! Thanks Bonnie!

My 4 plants were dead a few days after they arrived. No one has responded to my messages
My four plants arrived in bad shape and as much as I tried to save them with sun and water, they were dead in a few days. I left a message for Amazon and Bonnie Plants and even went to their website and left a message with no response. The only reason I purchased these plants on Amazon instead of Home Depot is because I read many reviews that said Bonnie Plants was a good company that had great customer service and if my plants were in bad shape when they arrived that they would replace them. This is very disappointing that no one has replied to my messages.

Arrived Very Healthy
2023 Update: As last year's Celebrity plants did spectacularly well, with more disease resistance than I seen in any other variety ever, I bought again when they went on sale. One thing I forgot to mention in the 2022 review is that when they go on sale, it's because the plants are getting too big for the shipping containers. Which means your plants will be a bit bent when you get them. They will straighten out and be just fine, but you can encourage them gently to straighten up. This will have ZERO effect on productivity. Even a broken branch won't slow them down much. A broken leader would delay fruiting but they will grow from a node and be just fine. (I had severe damage to my tomato plants in a storm a few years ago, all produced in the end so I do have experience with damaged plants.)I did not opt to prune my Celebrity tomatoes last year, and they did sprawl on the ground at the end of the season, but less so than some of the other varieties I have tried. Despite a lack of pruning, the plants did not develop any serious issues at all. I just need to be more careful about the slugs which enjoy the environment under the leaf canopy.2022 Review: I bought Bonnie Celebrity Tomato Plants after missing the closing weekend at the local greenhouse I planned on buying from. They arrived in good shape, bigger than I expected. They are beautiful plants setting lots of tomatoes. If buying from a local grower is not an option I would recommend these Bonnie tomato plants.

Not kidding they mature late!
I got 4 plants. Ordered May 2nd. Arrived May 8th. All arrived healthy looking. I watered them and handed them off for a week and planted May16th. One shriveled and died immediately. 3 lived. All get the same sun, food and water, they are in the same raised bed. One is 50% smaller and has no fruit yet. Probably won't get any. The other two are vigorous but no fruit set until September. It's now September 19th and I got 3 tomatoes on the 16th, one today and there are a few more coming on. They are small and green yet. I hope they mature and ripen before our first frost which sually happens mid October, but I don't think so. The fruit is smallish. About salad tomato size. However, the tomatoes I have picked so far are DELICIOUS, They are dense, meaty, sweet and juicy. Not a lot of tomato slime around the tiny seeds. I wish they would have set fruit earlier. Not a great investment for the money, time and water, but what I did get was good so far. I'll let you know more as the season closes.

Plants arrived in perfect shape
I planted these plants in my garden and they been producing at a prolific rate. The folks at Bonnie Plants really know how to package and ship these plants with very little degradation to the plant itself.

Not Beefsteak tomato
The plants arrived healthy and were easy to grow. Not all of them produced fruit and the tomatoes were most assuredly NOT beefsteak, but were a hybrid.
