Great buy!
I bought this for my teacher for a project we were doing in class and we tested it out and it worked great! It's a great kit that provides everything you see in the picture as well as instructions on how to make the Twinkie. Only suggestion I'd have for this is to spray the Twinkie maker with cooking spray so the Twinkie's don't stick to it.

Bag burst 1st time used.
This was a gift. The cakes cook good. The icing bag burst the first use. No filling equals no Twinkies!

Works well for me
A lot of reviews don't like this or rate it low I personally love it. Takes a few trial and errors to get the recipes right but once ya get it figured out. Very good.

Do not buy! You can have mine for free. Ugh.
My kids wanted this and I relented for a special birthday surprise. It was a disaster. The machine is designed in a way where it's difficult to get the Twinkie out. The recipe is horrible and I followed it precisely. The twinkies came out hard, the filling was so thick it busted out of and broke the flimsy pastry bag...twice (I had an extra one). The one Positive thing that came out of this was, by now knowing the exact ingredients, it reaffirmed my belief that kids should NOT be eating these products. Gross!! Btw, I had Never bought nor fed them a Twinkie before. At 8&9 they are OVER IT! I would say ZERO stars but apparently thats not allowed.

Bought 3 of these for CHRISTmas!
Bought 3 of these for CHRISTmas. They all came form 3 different warehouses: Wichita Falls, Sherman, and Waco. Shipped them during the ice storm. The one from Waco was here post haste. Sherman and Wichita Falls took forever. Why didn't they just ship them all out of the same warehouse. Still haven"t used the one I kept. I am to busy being the President of the Procrastinators club.

Love it!
I love this! I can put any cake mix in here! I fill them 3/4 and leave them in for 6-minutes and they are perfect.

Works GREAT
works just great. You must spray the wells and only fill them 1/2 to 3/4 full or you'll have a mess. With that done right they bake up and come right out perfectly formed. I used a red velvet cake mix and filled with whip cream whipped with some cream cheese. You definately need something stronger than the pastry bags to fill them. I use a whip cream maker with the CO2 cartridge.

Twinkie maker
Sorry to say that the twinkles tasted nothing like the real thing. While individually the cake and icing were both good, put together definitely not a Twinkie. And forget about trying to fill them with the pastry bag that was included! After failing with the pastry bag, I decided to cut the twinkles in half, the long way and put icing in between like a cake. We all finally decided to either spread the icing overtop or just dip it.Having said all that, the Twinkie project was a fun diversion for the rain in 4 wheel drive section we were staying at in the Outer Banks, NC, last Wednesday. Nobody felt like traversing the beach to get to the blacktop for a day shopping, so for that reason alone I gave it a 3.
