Good read
Another great story. I like how Robin is coming into her magic but do they actually show her how to use it? Love grandma no nonsense women! What happened to her aunt do we get to see her again? Bit clueless about who done it but got there in the end! Hopefully some answers in the next book!

She had an opportunity.. she missed it..
We open on the scene we left the previous book.. Robin is in the bakery kitchen Cassandra's dead body lies between Robin and her biological father. Robin has been paralysed by a spell and her father is spouting off about how she needs to come and help him achieve world domination. In itself it's too ridiculous.. the subsequent death of Elsa's friend and colleague which Robin blindly tries to pin in the wrong person until the killer outs themselves becomes background noise, although there's a nice moment where Bianca gets her comeuppance. There are spells with no necessity to know or learn anything, pre-mix potions that apparently will replenish themselves, a cat familiar who does nothing except read, I can go on but I think it is pointless..Out of the three books this had the potential to fill in the missing information and really go somewhere but instead it drifted along with little insight, a tired, weak storyline, and poor structure.PS I hate books that leave you half way through the last chapter.. it's not a cliff hanger it's a weak way to force the purchase of the next book. A cliff hanger finishes and leaves unanswered questions, or an impending event or decision.. leaving the last book with a "Robin I am your father" moment, a dead body and unfinished dialogue was shoddy and very lazy writing.

fantastic!
This book was as fantastic as the previous ones. It was funny, fast paced and it was hard to guess who the killer was.

Coven
Oh poor Robin never gets a minutes peace. You can guess who the killer is but the ending made me cry

Predictable
A quick, easy, light read but very predictable and a little preachy. The author continually tries to use other people 's wisdom to make her characters seem profound but honestly it reads like it has been written for teenagers, the main character even behaves with less maturity than that of a teenager. I am currently just reading this series while waiting for the next book in another series by a better author to be released. Sorry but it needs more intrigue, less simplicity and a lot more maturity from the main characters .

Fell flat at the end
A quirky paranormal mystery read that for me fell a bit rushed at the end and honestly a tad flat.

Yet another murder
The third murder in this sleepy seaside place. Really? Highly unlikely and, after the first 2 books, very predictable. The book seems rushed, flat and not enjoyable. Even a powerful witch has to put some effort into performing magic, never mind a relative newbie. Glad it was free and will never read it again.

Entertaining supernatural cozy mystery series
This is an entertaining supernatural cozy mystery series. A great cast of characters with an entertaining storyline. A young woman who was raised in Minnesota by her adopted parents. She was on her own after they had passed away enduring a dead end job and needing a change in her life. She gets a letter letting her know that she actually has biological family and has inherited her biological mothers bakery/coffee shop. She drives her beat up old Toyota out to Washington state meet your family and then soon realizes she thinks they are nuts. They claim to be witches. She soon finds out maybe they are not so crazy and things begin to happen. She finds a talking cat who happens to be her new familiar and then goes back to her biological family realized that yes they are actually witches and so is she. She starts running the bakery and soon finds out that she keeps getting put in the middle of investigating murder mysteries and other issues in town. Along with other issues that come along that are magical and non-magical you must read on and find out what’s going on. It is very entertaining and a fun read. Check it out
