Nasb, Classic Reference Bible, Genuine Leather, Buffalo, Brown, Red Letter, 1995 Text, Art Gilded Edges, Comfort Print

I am quite impressed with this Bible. For those who care about this, it has a lot of “premium” Bible features, without necessarily being a premium Bible.It has a genuine water buffalo leather cover with a nice deep grain. It is edge-lined, with a synthetic liner. The pages have a red under gold art gilt, and there is a gold gild line on the interior.The paper is very thin. I wished this used the 36gsm paper that their premium collections have, but this is 30gsm I believe. It is pretty typical bible paper, nothing wrong with it, ghosting is not horrible, but it’s nothing special. The print is line-matched to help with the ghosting as well.That aside, I like the layout quite a bit. This version has the full set of translator notes offered by Lockman. Most NASB 1995 editions I found had an abridged set of notes, but this one (and the cheaper version with the synthetic leather cover) have over 17,000 The cross references and translator notes are in the center column with the chapter:verse number next to them.I am a big fan of the comfort print you can find in these zondervan and Thomas Nelson bibles. There is plenty of space between the lines that help the font look larger than it actually is. I believe this is a 9.5 pt font.If the liner was leather, and if the paper were thicker, this could easily be a premium collection bible. Nevertheless, it is a very nice edition, and I like the layout and font from zondervan quite a bit more than anything I’ve seen from Lockman.

This bible is absolutely amazing!!! At first I was hesitant about buying it because it was a little out of my price range but it was totally worth it. I saw some comments said it felt like plastic but I disagree. All it feels like is REAL leather because it is. Its not cheap or flimsy at all. As far as words running in the bind you do have to loosen the the spine a little bit because it is bound tighter to make it last longer. The cross reference is awesome to have because it helps me figure out things that can sometimes be a little confusing. It is also amazing because this is the version my pastor preaches out of, and now I have the same version to follow along with. Totally recommend buying this Bible!!!

This is one beautiful Bible as evidenced by the back order delay. Amazon keeps moving the date further and further back. Perfect size , perfect text and the Buffalo leather feels great to the touch.For me it’s worth every penny. Highly recommended.
