Change of tone didn't work for me
I read and enjoyed each of the previous books in the series, and particularly enjoyed their light-hearted tone. I did not enjoy this volume as much: the plot focuses heavily on the free will Vs predestination argument that has been a background plot in earlier novels, and has a darker and more bitter tone to me. I also didn't enjoy the Deus ex Machina nature in which the plot was resolved with little real explanation: I hope this is an intentionally loose thread for future books to follow up.I hope the next book returns to previous form!

Out of Spite
Decent follow up for the series Gang have to solve what is causing the glitch in the programme. Good read

Awful
I think the complete change in attitudes from the characters is presumably meant to be funny? But it’s so completely turned around from how they were at the beginning of the series and the characters are now so devoid of reasoning or common sense it’s truly just drivel at this point. If this was how the series started out I would never have bothered.

Awesome series
This is a really good series. Not my favourite book, mostly because of an inevitable event but don’t want to spoil it. Very good book though, and defo worth reading the whole series

Not everything I hoped
Somewhat confusing with a few thin characters. Don't think I will bother with the rest of the series, I am afraid.
