Worth the wait
This figure didn’t reach the stores in my place. Opting to buy online after many years. Not a perfect figure. It has some problems but with limited figures of this character. I’ll settle with this.

Not too bad, but still needs work on the quality control Mattel
First of all, I had to get a replacement Spartan Locke, because Mattel packed two right thigh armor parts with the first figure I received. After I called Amazon's customer service, they sent a new Spartan Locke out the next day. Great Job Amazon. The second figure had all the correct parts and it's near perfect. The Pros:- Nice representation of Spartan Locke- A Lot of POA (Points of Articulation)- Way more poseable than the McFarlane Spartan Locke figure.- Diaphragm joint is much better than Master Chief's (Locke's chest can rotate a full 360 like Linda's)- More Paint applications then the other Spartans in this line.- Has trigger fingers- Includes a Battle Rifle (YES!!!!)- Shoulder and thigh armor can shift and tuck to allow for a wider range of posing ( Locke can take a knee and do standing kicks).- Butt armor stays in place. The Cons:- Flash from the molding process on some parts of the removable armor. (Easy to fix with an hobby knife)- The hands are a bit too soft and the battle rifle "pops" out of his hands too easy.- Stress marks start appearing when you place the figure in some poses.- Can't "shoulder" ( to hold the stock of the rilfe on the shoulder) his own battle rifle, but can "shoulder" Master Chief's battle rifle perfectly ( Very Odd. Locke's battle rifle's stock maybe a bit too long.)- Need's a bit more paint to match the Mcfarlane Locke figure. (I can always add more paint to the armor)- Both the holes in the biceps are too shallow.- Both the pegs in the shoulder armor are too short ( Shallow holes, short pegs, thus the should armor pops off too easily when posing)Note: The bicep armor will stay on if you're mindful of how you're move his arms. While Locke can't shoulder his battle rifle, he can tuck the stock under his arm pit, allowing him to hold his weapon with both hands. Note: Locke's right trigger finger and right thumbare the only parts of his right hand touching the battle rifle, once the left hand is on the fore grip of the battle rifle. The right trigger finger will be bent in this pose, but the figure's handsare soft enough, so the trigger finger shouldn't break off. Mattel could fix this problem, if the point of rotation was at the bottom of the bicep (above the elbow) instead of the top of the bicep (under the shoulder). All of the McFarlane's Halo 4 and 5 figures have lower bicep rotation, hence they can shoulder any of their battle rifles just like in the video game.Despite the cons, Spartan Locke is still my favorite figure of this line. I just wish Mattel would work harder on their quality control. Locke was the second defective Mattel Halo figure I bought and had to replace.Linda was the first due to a boot missing in the package. I want to support this line, but these quality control issues have to stop. You need to do better Mattel.I give the first figure one star due QC issues and having to get a replacement. The replacement figure is nice four stars figure, but due to the stress marks and bicep issues( shallow hole, short pegs, and rotation joint not being at the bottom of the bicep.) I can't give it full five star rating. If you want a Spartan Locke figure you can pose, buy the Mattel Spartan Locke figure. Get the McFarlane Spartan Locke figure, only if you are a MOC collector.

Mattel Halo Series 1 Spartan Locke
Spartan Locke is set to take the lead in the HALO universe, and the new figure from Mattel does justice in depicting this brave warrior. Standing 6 inches tall, the figure includes thirty points of articulation, fourteen snap on armor segments, and two weapons: A BR85 heavy barrel service rifle, and a Covenant plasma rifle.Locke's Gen2 Hunter armor is by far the most unique with a minimalist design to it. The armor segments easily snap into place, and unlike the McFarlane figures, the Mattel figures appear truly lifelike due to their armor being separate from the bodysuit, whereas the McFarlane figures had their armor molded on.The Mattel figures are really balanced, and they can stand unsupported in most positions, whereas the McFarlane figures could not. The Mattel figures can also grip their weapons. Overall this figure is really awesome, and it's exciting to see this new iteration by Mattel of the characters from Halo. The molds and sculpting are phenomenal.

Highly detailed but armor impedes poseability
These are very detailed and somewhat poseable (despite many points of articulation) figures based on the popular Halo video games. This series of figures is similar to previous releases in this toy line expect that the armor is now removable and the figure is actually packaged "half-dressed." While the armor pieces are fairly easy to attach, some stay on better during play than others and the armor tends to impede the full range of motion of the "naked" figure. Each figure comes with a different weapon and you need to get all figures in a numbered series to get the parts needed for the build-a-figure alien Crawler.

Locke looks great. This is a very nice looking figure
Locke looks great. This is a very nice looking figure. The 2 weapons (battle rifle and plasma caster) fit really well in hand. The clip on armour works well and the figure is fairly easily posed and it stands up by itself in many different stances. A good job by Mattel with their 6" Spartan Locke. :)

Halo Mattel Spartan Locke
One of the weaker in the series, but he does look nice. The amount of unique parts he has is really nice actually, but he can't hold his weapon easily without the shoulder piece popping off. Also due to the thickness of the legs, it does limit the amount of range significantly, but still moves more then the McFarlane Locke at least.

Son loves it.
Some small parts have a hard time staying on.

Order was easy and quick and great price but product received was not what was shown in the pictures. Returned it to Amazon for a refund. My son was pretty disappointed.

Buena figura, mala entrega
