Home: A Celebration: Notable Voices Reflect on the Meaning of Home

I find it is never enough to get new or a re-look at traditional ideas on this holiday.

I enjoyed this book very much. Many famous designers are included within it including my favorite designer Corey Damen Jenkins. I really liked Jill Kargman’s section too entitled Home is Where the Art is. My favorite quote from the book was the following:Home is where you hang your dead or alive dog portraits. - Donald Robertson

Remarkably easy to read and interesting book. Reading different views of persons --in their own words--on what is home to them or what home means to them is wonderful. Super book to give as a gift--especially to "romantic" persons and also to those who just need some encouragement and warmth in their lives. Most of the writings are a page or two in length and each is usually accompanied by a picture meaningful to that particular author.

I tried to just flip through this before giving it away- OH no, I must buy more! What a treat to see and read such a broad range of approaches to the concept of Home. Beautiful and captivating.

Really enjoyed this collection of essays on home, as it is a book I purchased to support a colleague’s interest in this charity. This book was edited by a designer whom I greatly respect and admire, Charlotte Moss— Virginian, Southerner, and a lovely human being! I will purchase each book she authors, simply out of a deep respect for her smarts, craftwork, great taste, and her loyal, responsible, humanitarian character traits! Love Charlotte Moss!!!
