ColumbiaMen's Redmond Iii Waterproof Hiking Shoe

The most comfortable shoes I’ve ever bought. Did not require wearing in, first wear today, so pleased with these shoes, I might buy another pair while they’re available.Really really pleased.

Comfortable to wear but whilst walking through a dewy grass my socks got soaked.Therefore not a practical hiking trainer.

As always Columbia foot ware excels in comfort and fit. Wouldn’t buy any other.

Great fitting good looking

These walking shoes,whilst being comfy,let every drop of water or dew from grass into the shoe. wet feet in seconds when walking to the shops in a vey light rain shower.So it’s hot dry days only for these I’m afraid. Quite dissatisfied.

Companies should be done under the trades description act. Waterproof should mean waterproof. These shoes are not. I only bought them because they said waterproof. They are not. They let morning dew / light rainwater in - they are not waterproof!A few months in, stitching coming undone at front, which will let in more water.Terrible. Will never buy another pair of Columbia shoes again.

These are definitely NOT waterproof. If I get water on the top from wet grass I will get wet socks after half an hour or so.Also, the back of the left shoe has started to collapse at the top. I am now looking for a new pair of walking shoes/trainers for dog walks.
