The best thing to do is measure around his head just above the ears in cm - this will ascertain his head size. medium = 58cm large = 60cm xlarge = 62cm

if your hat is in need of cleaning, it is better to wash it by hand than to leave it to the mercy of a machine.

have something better than a baseball cap... like a suit hat and then that's your size
