Images of America: Fort Lee (Virginia)

I ordered this and the book because I was stationed at Fort Lee and wanted to see what it looked like before my time. It has a lot of information in it I haven't seen anywhere else. One thing I like about the Kindle version is the photos are much clearer than the book and I can read it on any device, but it's nice having both.

Fort lee, as a subject, is a bit limiting, but this work handles it well. If you have any interest of a personal or historic nature in Fort Lee, this is a photo filled effort to cover it. I was interested in things older than Fort Lee and this book provided me a single map that filled my desires. It can be many things to many people.

Really takes me back. Many of the pictures and information are from before my time but quite a bit of it is the old Ft Lee which I remember. The Ft Lee which is rapidly being torn down and fading into the history books...
