I haven't actually handled the walkie talkies as i cannot see my grandson right now apart from on facetime but he loves them! After my original order was not recieved, Amazon refunded very quickly so i could re-order and that order was recieved the following day so well done Amazon and great product from the seller which is providing hours of fun in the lockdown 😊 Happy to recommend

Great for a kids toy! Much better range than I could have hoped for when I was a child. Standing on top of a hill, it works back down to the house. Not sure exactly how far it is directly, maybe 500-600m as the crow flies - see picture for where the other one is!Love the colours too, they’re nice and bright. Goes well with a ‘Noddy toyland detective’ play set the children have.I’ve marked it down a bit on ease of use, as there are a few features to this (good!!) just takes a while to figure them out. There is a child lock to prevent the kids from getting into a muddle.I like the ‘vox’ function which is good for a toddler as they don’t have to hold a button to talk, just talk into it and it goes automatically on to transmit mode. But they have to learn to wait their turn to speak.You can also turn the vox function off so acts like a normal walkie talkie where you press a button when you want to transmit.Would definitely recommend, and parents may get just as much fun out of it.

I dislike toys that are labelled ‘for boys’ but was asked to buy these for my grandson. However, he was given another set so I use these for my mother. She’s 88 and disabled so when I’m there doing her work she can call me up! She had a bit of difficulty synchronising speaking/button pressing but it’s caused much hilarity between us and once she got the hang of it we found it very useful. The only problem I’ve found is that it is very sensitive and, as I tuck it into my belt, it keeps ringing when I bend over to do the gardening or housework. This means that the battery life was relatively short. It does, however, have a very long range.

These Walkie talkies are top quality with excellent range and easy to be used by kids. Bought it for my 5 and 4 years old as Eid present and they just loved it. Speakers are so clear. These are quite better than some more expensive ones. Build from high quality plastic. Loved the colours. Will highly recommend.

These are easy to use as an adult but I would think a child might struggle to set up. There are a lot of channels to choose from (too many in my opinion) and if a child accidentally changes this whilst using it then they won't be able to hear the other person. A younger child might not necessarily know how to change it or be able to change it to match the other, even if they have been shown. This is because there aren't many buttons so it takes a lot of pressing on just one button to get to the right option! However, they have good sound quality and a good distance can be covered. They are much smaller than I imagined but this is probably better for children to hold. Batteries are not included and takes 4 in each one so make sure you are stocked up! Overall they are good and the children enjoy playing with them, just a few design features that could perhaps be changed! 4 stars because I know there are better, much simpler walkie talkies for children out there, at much the same price!

Bought this for my 3 year old and 7 year old. They've been having lots of fun with them. The walkie talkies are well built, a little smaller than I'd imagined they'd be but perfect for small hands! The batteries last a reasonable amount of time; obviously depends on the use. The kids used the devices daily for around a week before I had to replace the batteries. Putting the batteries in is a bit tricky though because of the clip restricting access somewhat. These pick up random conversations though including local authority (police, fire etc.) too at times I guess due to the range of 3 miles. The quality of sound is very good. Overall very pleased with this purchase.

The girls are loving it but.. it takes 4 aa batteries, which last for a few days so get ready to have lots of replacements in the house. The buttons are made up of rubber, which might be a good thing but two of these popper out perhaps my daughter might have been very brutal with it but i feel that may have made them a bit more child friendly and sturdy.Other than that, these really helped us get through the lock down, where we both needed to work and kids needed to be engaged with something..

Got these for my 2 year old daughter and she loves them! Easy enough for her to use, we’re yet to go out to the forest and try them but they are so much fun just in the house! They are perfect size, and have a hole so I can add a neck strap so she doesn’t lose it when we’re out. Which is perfect for my clumsy 2 year old (and her dad). Definitely recommend
