Q: I have a 98 lbs rock I want to display. The stone is egg shaped & the bottom measures 8" in dia, so it will set on top. Can it hold that weight?

I just sat on it. I weigh 200 lbs and nothing went wrong. My only concern would be tipping. 90lbs falling off onto a child or animal could be a problem.

Yes, in term of being sturdy, it could definitely hold it. The only concern would be that the surface area of the top is not very large so I would be concerned based on the width of your glass. Maybe 4 of them would be better to support a glass desk. It is heavy and sturdy but relatively small surface area. Hopefully that helps

I have previously brought two off these for my bathroom area but they would be okay outside as well I am very pleased with the purchase a and they arrived very well packed

no it is all one piece and I leave it outside all winter and had it for a couple of years now! no assembling LillyS
