Love this book
First off, from the beginning of the story I was hooked. I really have a hard time with pronouncing Japanese names and that is the only reason why I gave this book a four star. The main characters, who I call 'Yuki', is the most interesting character I have learned about so far in any book. Yes, this story is a yaoi or m/m relationship. The prince is also one of favorite characters; he's just so mysterious through the entire story till the end, which I have to say, 'the end was awesome'! I love the whole Arabian Night theme, kind of, but some people might not understand that. I love yaoi romances and love them even more when one character fights the affection from the stronger male. I just re-read this book two days ago and couldn't put it down. Love this story and will definitely buy more books like this.

Easy read
Takeyuki decides to go on vacation and visit his brother and sister-in-law in Cassina. He is from a wealthy family and hasn't had many hardships. He meets a sexy man on his plane ride over to Cassina. This mysterious sexy man seems to be cocky. He sees him one more time at the airport in Cassina. He is unaware of the dangers lurking in Cassina. He decides that he can take care of himself and ditch his 'bodyguard' at the local market. He ends up being kidnapped. As his kidnappers are taking him across the desert to be given as a 'present' to a local desert tribe chief, a man on a horse who has very familar eyes comes and saves Takeyuki. As they are traveling together back across the desert, they begin to grow a relationship of some sort. Who exactly his this mysterious man? Can takeyuki really trust him?

Want more! Fantastic story!!! ^^
An unsaid attraction between the two characters as they engaged in the classic love hate relationship made the book funny and cute to watch their relationship develop. It takes place over the a kidnapping of a naive boy visiting foreign lands in the desert. By far a must read!!!! Left me wanting more to find out about their next steps. It's more about the two characters realization of feelings for each other and then affirming it so not an intense erotic novel, but the way it was translated and plot developed has easily become one of the best yet!

Not a great book
The Aristocrat and the Desert prince, was a mistake to purchase. From its discription and cover, i thought that it would be an interesting and entertaining book to buy. But honestly I am embarassed to admit that I bought it, and hide it from my book collection. The characters were corny and had- in my opinion- little time to develope fully. The theme was boring, not as interesting as i thought it would be. I probably should have bought a different book, because when i opened it and begun to read i could feel my heart sink in dissapointement. Not a good book. The pictures were kind of nice.

Aristocrats & Desert Prince
I found this book to be one of the easier ones to read. Also I like a lot how the author put the photos in the book at certain things time. Once I started I didn't want to put down but had to for work. Otherwise I would have finished with out putting it down.

Lovely story, beautiful art, but very unlikely to actually happen
While I have liked this artist's work for a long time, and the story is sweet and romantic, it is very unlikely. I say this because in reality (and yes, I know this is just based on a woman's fantasy), a romance between two men would not be tolerated in the Middle East countries where the Prince resides. SPOILER: Towards the end, the Prince tells Takayuki not to worry about what will happen if he steps down as the prince to be with him, because he has several brothers who can step up to take his place as the next prince/sultan. That is sweet, but in reality, the prince and probably Takayuki, too, would be executed for it because homosexuality is forbidden in the Middle East. If the Prince's father had discovered the true nature of his son, it doesn't matter if he was of royalty or not, the son would most likely be executed for it. There are many stories of men who have been quickly hanged over there for that. Don't get me wrong, I think a man should be able to choose his own path, and that it shouldn't matter if his lover is another man, but society doesn't see it that way. And I find it funny how it's okay for a sultan to have SEVERAL WIVES, but yet, he can't have even one man for a lover. There's just no justice! But if you ignore society, and just enjoy the story and pretend it's possible on another world somewhere, it is a nice little read.
