It's critical if you want that better-than-OCS flavour and burn rate that you dry and cure in the right range both in terms of humidity and temperature.After drying with a portable air conditioner/dehumidifier and humidifier in a grow tent, trying to maintain 60F / 60%, I do the same inside of 2L mason jars (and I use a LOT of 2L mason jars).While it's fairly easy to keep the temperature close by keeping the jars in a box that I move in and out of the cold storage room, it's much trickier to keep the humidity on point inside a sealed container with biological/chemical changes taking place.That is, it WOULD be difficult if I didn't stick a boost pack in every jar. When they're done curing they get vacuum sealed with a boost pack, and the extra boost packs stay in the jars for the next harvest. I'm still using packs I bought 4-6 months ago.

Does what it’s meant for I prefer these over boveda packs because of pricing

These integra boost packs are great for keeping your stash from drying up. The packs keep the containers at the right humidity and don’t make the bud taste in any way like Boveda have been known to do.
