Kaytee Nyjer Wild Bird Food Seed, 3 Pound

Birds love this. They even gather on the ground to eat the food that falls.

We wanted food that would attract goldfinches to our feeder, and this product has certainly delivered! Almost immediately, gold and purple finches started appearing and began feasting on the seed. It's nothing to see four, five, even six finches vying for a spot on the feeder! This seed has become our product of choice, and we will continue to endorse it. Based on some of the reviews we've read, we didn't know if the birds would like the seed, so we ordered the 5 pound size. The finches love this food! As another plus, we are seeing a decrease in squirrel and blackbird activity at the feeder.

Big fan of Kaytee bird mixes for the most part, this Nyjer/Thistle seed has never disappointed. Expensive, but finches devour this stuff

I'm sure it's okay. As it has not gotten moldy in my Finch feeder. But I have had no finches for 2 weeks. Maybe they're elsewhere and maybe it's not the fault of the food

Another seed to keep the squirrels outta my bird feeder !!! My birds are loving the seed !!! The squirrels not so much and thats what I wanted !! I had tried some pepper powders before hand but the squirrels ate it anyway!! Now with this seed only beautiful birds and not annoying squirrels

Birds like this Nyger seed. Red house finches and American goldfinches are enjoying these seeds. I am aware that some people say that birds will not eat it. I put out these Nyger seeds and shelled sunflower seeds out for my little feathered finch friends, and they eat it and enjoy it. I have been watching carefully, and the finches are definitely eating the Nyger seeds. It is important not to let these seeds get soaked by water. This may be what contributed to other people saying that finches will not eat it. I clean the seed bowl out every day to make sure the seeds are dry and fresh.

This is great nyjer food to attract gold finches. I put the feeder away from the others so the finches don't get bothered by the other birds.

I liked it, but the birds didn't go for it as I thought they would :(

The price is way too high....will not purchase at that price again.

Got this item as I could not find Nyjer seed anywhere. It was a great price and was delivered quickly. The little birds love it.
