Great resource!
Dr. Darin J. Eich's book "Innovation Step-by-Step: How to Create and Develop Ideas for Your Challenge" is a great resource and has an associated online course on the same topic that is sold separately.

A simple 44-page basic booklet on concepts similar to Design Thinking
Small booklet 5x8 in, that has 122 pages indicated, yet only 44 have actual text that is based on a 7-step process. The other pages are either blank or have (dark and hard to see) illustrations, probably downloaded from the internet. The 7-Step process took me 1hr to read. I would recommend it to people who are entirely unfamiliar with topics in innovation, creativity, business, or design thinking. If you are somewhat familiar with the topics, do not buy this book; as it will disappoint you. There is nothing innovative being offered in the 7-step process that has not already been explored in numerous design thinking textbooks with more in-depth explanations than this booklet.

Lacking and dated
Disappointed in this book. Felt like it was very high level and a sales pitch for other products. Many links were broken and some content is dated.

I think it's a good read.
There are 7 steps presented for formulating ideas and moving forward to implementing them. The author uses his personal experiences as examples which may or may not align with your own situation. I modified them to be used within our department for our own unique needs. I did find the book helpful for streamlining the process and getting our group thinking about ways to increase efficiency. I think it's a good read.
