I use this tripod for my NexiGo N960E FHD Webcam. I love that it uses aluminum telescopic legs, but the feet are just cheap plastic and not rubberized. So it can slide around a bit while trying open it and stand it up. The telescopic legs are kind of useless due to the weight of the camera and the non rubberized feet. The legs will slide further open than really should, because there is no locking point if you will to prevent that. The NexiGo N960E FHD Webcam has some weight to it, and while the mini stand does work, you do have to play around with the tripod to get it where you need it.Cosmetically mine did have a small dent in one of the legs, and overall size is a lot smaller than I thought, which was actually nice. A smaller footprint on my desk helps with the overall placement.I will say that the body where the camera connects too needs a major redesign. The day I got it, the legs opened too far and separated from the base. It took me a bit to put it back together, and compress the plastic hold down before it would snap back in. There is a small screw inside that I had to remove and then replace during this process.You can't expect a lot from a low priced mini tripod like this one, but clearly the selling point is the aluminum legs.

I guess you can't expect much at this price, but these tripods will only work for very basic loads where the mass is more or less directly above the center. I am trying to use it with a small 1x1x1 inch thermal camera, but pointed off center and the tripod is constantly tipping over.Consider your application first: if you want to mount something even slightly offcenter that ways more than a few ounces, this will not work.Also, these are almost entirely cheap plastic (but that's what I would expect at the price). There are a few metal pieces, but mostly plastic.

Make sure to push it all the way down so that the tripod is completely extended. May need some tape to keep it for moving around depending upon the circumstance. Cheap and cheerful. not configurable, but that's not what I was looking for

Standing in a tripod position, just 7 inches of height & 5 1/2 inches wide extended.Lightweight at 130 grams with the Nexigo Webcam attached.I added the tripod to my cart with the Nexigo webcam for a discount they are issuing.Does as intended, Giving you 2 extra inches of height with the webcam attached, coming in at 9 inches.
