These stuck really really well to the linoleum floors in my kitchen and bathroom. My elderly dog started slipping on those floors so I bought these to help her with traction. It worked pretty well for that. And the adhesion was very good, I vacuumed every other day and these never even started to peel at the edges at all. However, when she started slipping on the wooden stairs on the back deck, I bought another set of these, installed as instructed, yet they stayed on out there for only 2 days. When it rained and the wind blew a little, these came right off by themselves. So, GREAT for inside use. Just a fair warning though, they're hard to get off. I only had them on my floors inside for 4 and a half months, and then the dog died so I wanted to remove them since they were just for her. The adhesion was so strong that when I pulled these up, it actually pulled up the linoleum flooring from the wood underneath at the edges of the room. I would do it again though, anything to help my dog.

I bought these to put on my laminate stairs because we've been having difficulties getting our dog to go up the stairs (as well as providing some more grip when wearing socks). They provide lots of grip (dog is now going up half the staircase, still working on building his confidence) and are pretty clear. They are nearly invisible when looking down at them, but are more visible when looking from lower angles.The included tool is not very high quality, but still gets the job done and makes the application much cleaner and easier. If you were doing multiple stair cases, I'd probably buy something higher quality, but for one or two it's fine.Overall would recommend, especially for just over $30.I've attached pictures before & after applying to the upper portion of the stairs (lower portion has them in both pictures and you can see how well they blend when looking down.

These look as described and were fairly easy to install but the jury is out. The roller provided is kind of cheap and had to be re-assembled half way through. It's also uneven so didn't get a good smooth pressing. The strips will stick pretty good but if there is anything under them, like a divot where a nail is lower than the wood surface, they leave a bubble that looks like it keeps getting a little bigger, like it won't stick to the edge of the divot well. In the past I used the kind of tape version that you had to trim to size. It was convenient that this was pre-cut but I don't think it sticks as well as the other stuff did.

I bought these for indoor stairs but ended up not needing them there. So I took a chance and applied them on some metal texturned stairs outside and they've been awesome. They say they work on smooth surfaces so I actually didn't think it would work but they totally stick. And stay through the rain. A+ buy!

You need a good roller to install these treads, and the one that comes with the kit is a bad joke. Go get a good J-roller, but it will cost you $15 to $20. Then you need to be slow and careful if you want it to look decent when you're done. They do look much better than colored strips, and they seem to help both the dogs and us avoid slips. They haven't been down long enough to discuss durability; we're worried that the edges seem to come a little loose in spite of having been rolled repeatedly.
