This is the second book in the duetOmg this was an amazing book, i have never cried over a book so much.Leaving on the last book when Cassidy was attacked by Eirk and it was a set up.After the attack Cassidy found it hard to find herself again.Max wants revenge on who set up the attack on Cassidy because no one hurt someone that belongs to him in all ways.The love between Cassidy and Max is so strong as Cassidy brings in the light to his life as Max’s is so dark, Max is so alpha male with his tattoos and how grumpy he is but how sweet he can be with CassidyI love how he calls her his Little OneCan they find there forever when it seems everything is against them

I LOVE THIS BOOK!!!! The storyline kept me hooked! I love Max and Cassidy, usually these types of books with awkward/timid female and strong male grate me but this book was a perfect blend of everything! I’m going to read the rest of the series! Defo recommend 10000000000000000%

Hooked from the beginning, loved the book and all the twists and turns it had. I can imagine all of these characters and I love how they all sound and look. Bring on the next book

I love this mafia romance series by Nicci Harris, these big bad men fall head over heels for these tiny heroines. But as they navigate through the pages of the book you're left on a cliffhanger until the next book in the series.It was an easy 5 stars from me.

Oh my poor bruised and battered heart 🥺This duet was a journey of the best kind but man it’s emotional.Max and Cassidy have fought for their love, they have decided to be together and they are better for it. They went through some horrific times but they fought to come out the other side together.Max remains his brooding, protective, sexy as hell self and while Cassidy is still recovering from her ordeal she’s still the sweet, soft, max obsessed heroine from part 1.Then of course more tragedy works it’s way into their lives. I don’t even want to write it and I think it’s best this review remains spoiler free so you can also feel like you’ve been punched in the gut. You’re welcome 👍🏻I just did not see that turn of events happening and it BROKE me! I don’t even know why it affected me so much but it did. So yeah, thanks for that Nicci 😏OH!!! I have no words for how good these books are I love the butcher boys and I am going straight to book 3 about bronson. Max and Cassidy have such a good connection two completely different lives and worlds but work so perfect together. Fabulous just fabulous nicci!
