Creatures of an Hour

I was very pleased to discover this new group. They are following closely in the footsteps of the late, great Broadcast, with a psychedelic, 60s film-noiry sound and dreamy female vocals. Still Corners' airy and ethereal sound also reminds me of some early 90s shoegazing acts like Swallow (anyone else remember them?) and Lush.I only had to listen to the samples for a few seconds to know that I would buy this. And I wasn't disappointed when I did.

This is hands down the best album I have bought in the last 2 years. Dark, melodic, eerie, psychadelic, noiresque, St Ettienne inspired brilliance. Each track is a dreamy wonder.

Great album - excellent quality and arrived promptly.

I purchsed what was described at collectible CD. It turned out to be a promo album... plastic sleeve with two bits of paper at cover. I receive lots of promo albums in my job and am not averse to them. I would not describe them as collectible. Nowhere in the description did it say promo.The content of the CD is great stil love Still Corners. Just not this seller.

This is beautiful. I bought the CD a week ago and have played it at least once every day since. It's also on my phone, iPod and PC. The guitar sounds gorgeous. The voice is heaven. If you like Julee Cruise and the music Angelo Badalamenti wrote for Twin Peaks, you'll love this, too. If I could give it ten stars, I'd do so happily.
