Disappointing
When I read the other reviews I assumed that, like a lot of resin figures, I'd need to do some heating and repositioning of the figure to get things to fit right. Boy...I guess the other people who reviewed this are either more forgiving or had less of a disaster than I did. The figure itself is super cool, very detailed. The FITTING of the figure is a disaster. As you can see in the posted photos, there are more than one or two "gaps" in the model. The photos are taken with the feet in the proper position in the base after I had to heat and flatten a bend in the base so I would lay flat. Before bending, there was no space between the legs to attach the tail section. It's a neat figure, but for $90, I don't think it's too much to ask that the arms and legs fit where they're supposed to.

It's Awesome!
First off, he's HUGE. I knew the sculpt was going to be large, but he's a giant! I had also picked up the Orcus figure and he's about half as tall (granted he is also sitting down). But this is THE piece you want to scare a party of adventurer's, or just to show off around the house. The detail is pretty insane and I found myself just starting at it while I was assembling it. Couple of "not quite fitting right" issues, but nothing a little extra glue and holding tightly together won't fix. Plus if your going to be painting it (cause you should be) it's easy enough to fill in a few gaps. Overall this is the coolest looking figure I've ever gotten!

Great for display and battle map.
If you want Demogorgon, this is definitely the one to get. And paint it yourself. Fun to build, fun to paint. It's a magnificent figurine. Be sure to look at videos on YouTube before building. If the fittings are good, there are ways to heat the mold to flex it into place without causing damage. I painted Demogorgon the way I envisioned for a creepy look, based on the Out Of The Abyss cover but creepier, twisted, and ghostly.

Amazing Detail but Terrible Cast
This product was almost perfect. It came out of the box looking amazing, I painted it with my family, and went to put it together only to learn that the torso did not fit with all the other pieces. It's being salvaged using an industrial heating gun to soften the torso into the right shape. It's a gorgeous thing to look at, but I don't intend to but from GF9 again because of this massive issue. Similar problem with the Graz'zt mini.

Gorgeous but not for the faint of heart
This is a gorgeous mini and has been a joy to paint but buyer be warned this will require green stuff and extra love to cover the seam gaps. It is definitely not a mini for beginners but in the right hands can bring the wow factor to the table.
