12 Mil. Security Window Film (60" x 25ft)

Use the dish soap solution abundantly, don’t skimp. Watch a few videos and think about what you’re going to do. Don’t attempt to do the entire house in one day. Make sure you clean the windows, three times. Then run a scraper over the window.

The film went on without issue. It is pretty thick and can be dufficult to handle on large windows. On the smaller windows I cut to exact size minus a little bit 1/8" to 1/4" with the interior molding removed. Had to replace molding but it made it seamless. When applying make sure you use distilled water and a little bit of dish soap. Use lint free towels to clean and most importantly clean the window well. Real well. Multiple times. Any little specs or pieces if lint or fuz will show up. I used a 6" plastic wallpaper squeegee to get the water out between the film and window. That little thing they ship with the film is a joke. Multiple passes with the squeegee. Paper towel wrap around the squeegee on the last pass so the water doesn't wick back in. Good work out and it looked good once cured. Couldn't tell it was there. I haven't broken the window to see how it performed hence the 4 stars...LOL.

Very difficult to apply without catching debris. Had this professionally installed, the installation company said this is low quality film. Not completely clear to look through. There is a weird fish eye effect randomly throughout each window with this film. All in all, I am happy with the security provided by the film and am happy with the cost savings of purchasing my own materials.

This is a very poor quality film. Save yourself grief and buy from a professional who will install their own film and 100% guaranty their product and work. Installed per instructions with the correct tools and solution. Very inconsistent material. Vendor warranty useless by the time you pay shipping and restock fee.

Customer service is non-existent. Damaged product no support from both seller and Amazon. First one in a while where Amazon did not help or believe me.

was easy to install, looked good after install,but did not stay stuck after 24 hours it lost its grip on the window. I removed the product.

Bought this to protect a window that I had to replace that was broken by a golf ball. The original window had the security film so it prevented the glass from shattering and the ball from entering into the room. The film was easy to apply and it came with a "squeegee" type device to get the air bubbles out. I followed the included directions and installed in myself. It came out perfect. It is clear and you can't tell it has a film on it. There is no distortion when you look out the window.

This Security Film is FAR The Best it’s thicker you can feel the difference between 4 mil. , 8mil & the 12 mil I’ve used VVIDE 24”x 48”x40’ corners did not want to stick BDF the same “ But This ONE Stuck ! “ no other window Film to use them this 1 !
