Estoy muy contenta con mi nueva olla. Reemplace una que usaba y hasta ahorita todo muy bien.

I read many many reviews for different slow-cookers before I decided on the Hamilton Beach 5-Qt unit. This slow-cooker is basic in features and works very well, exactly what you need in your slow-cooker.The lid fits well, it doesn't get so hot that it melts the plastic handles off, the paint of the stoneware doesn't leech into your food and so on. It is just plain works.The only improvements I would suggest are:1- Warm and Hot settings seem pretty much the same. Only difference is how quickly the system gets to temp.2- There is no indicator light to tell you that it is running/power-on. So, start it a few minutes before you leave for the day and just before you pop out the door, check it to ensure that it's warming up.Otherwise, this is a great slow-cooker and one of the best Amazon purchases I have made. I don't like Amazon...

I made this purchase after breaking my original crockpot. I dropped the crock wear in the sink while washing. I was shopping on Amazon to find a replacement. This Hamilton Beach Portable 5 quart Slow Cooker was the item that I chose. It has all of the necessary temperatures, which was just what I wanted, without a bunch of extras that I did not need. I have used it 5 - 6 times already, and it performs perfectly. I am very satisfied with my purchase. It made for very easy shopping without having to leave my home, especially during the Covid 19 quarantine.

It does exactly what I wanted it to do. It cooked my chuck roast to perfection in about 8 hours. It's very easy to clean, 3 temperature control buttons(warm, low, and high) I cooked on low. It fit my 2lbs of chuck roast no problem and didn't burn, I could've fit another 2lbs (4lbs total)of chuck roast in it if I wanted to. I used the rubber band that keeps the lid shut to make sure there was a nice seal all around the top.Over all its exactly what I wanted, not too small and not too big.
