Nice slice
You can cut the bread evenly and the width makes a nice slice.

Love this pan
I absolutely love this pan. My bread turns out evenly browned, it doesn't stick and it's very sturdy. As with all my non-stick bread pans, I never wash in the dishwasher and preferably wash with water but occasionally wash in soapy water by hand. It keeps pans working well. I would like to find this pan that holds 3 or 4 loaves. It's super sturdy and will be one I will use for years.

Fits different sized loaves of bread
What a great kitchen item! I love using this guide to slice even pieces of sourdough bread with breakfast and Italian bread with dinner. The item ships flats, so simple assembly is required - just fasten 4 (included) screws in designated spots.Pros: this tray is wide enough for different loaves of bread, rather than only fitting thin Italian/baguette loaves. Also love the simplistic country-style design!Only cons: I found the need to further attach the two wooden halves together, as the cutting motion causes separation. This was a simple fix and not an issue.

No more squished bread!
I absolutely love this bread slicer. It’s sturdy, easy to assemble with four small screws, and so easy to clean. I love that it catches all of the crumbs and there’s no mess all over the counter. The guides are the perfect with each slice perfectly uniform. I was concerned that I could not adjust them but realized if I wanted a thicker piece of bread I could simply skip one guide. Worked out great. The best part was that the knife slides easily and the bread comes out perfect! Not all squished… Even warm bread sliced nicely.

Terrible design and a waste of money
This slicing guide is intended to come apart for storage, but it also comes apart as you try to slice on it. The disassembled pieces aren't even flat, so it isn't easy to store, either. I threw it away after one use.

Works well.
Sturdy. Good price. Easy clean up. Baked bread and it worked well. Like the tiny hole imprints it makes on the loaves.

Buyer beware...
I read review but usually take them with a grain of salt and this was no exception, i read that the coating was fragile at best but thought that if i take extra care of it it will most likely last for long time. But those of you who think you can avoid other's pitfalls i have bad news. I took extra care of these baguette molds, wash them with the soft side of the sponge water and soap and after 1 (yes one) batch of bread there is already disappearing coating. I wish i had better news as there is no good alternatives but thought i would help make sure you don't think that the complain about the coating is not from those folks that thought cleaning with a metal brush would be a good idea.. unfortunately not the case... On the right side of the ledger they look good are easy to use and make baguette baking so much easier no need for a couche, the last rise and baking in those molds make baguettes the baker would be envious of but the coating is a huge concern.

Astonishingly poor durability
I bake every day, so it is likely that in the short time that I have owned this, I have used it beyond its projected life span. I received this baking tray on March 5, and commenced baking. As of last week, baguettes began to stick. Today, the pan would not release the bread, so I released the pan. The baking tray and bread were launched with great vigor over the fence in my backyard. Why on earth did I give it three stars, you ask. When used within its limitations, it's a handy bit of cookware. It was a welcomed crutch that helped me perfect my technique, but I no longer need it or the aggravation of its marginal durability. If you are a casual bread baker and wish to experiment with baking baguette, this tray can be quite handy in helping you deal with the fragile, high hydration dough you will produce. The tray, however, will not stand up to high frequency baking cycles or a harsh cleaning regimen. View it as a set of training wheels to get you rolling down the road. When it fails you, let nature have it. It will rust back to its elemental constituents in no time.

Nice looking, works beautifully and easy to clean
I'm very happy with this board. I cut a lot of bread by hand now as I've taken to making all our bread now with my bread machine. Nothing worse than making a sandwich where one slice of bread is markedly thicker than the other. This cutting board of course prevents that and allows you to slice pretty uniform slices. The slices are thin which I personally like. And it would be hard to slice the bread that thin without this board. But of course if you want thicker slices you could just cut at every second slot instead of at each one.It lets you slice bread evenly and each slice is pretty uniform,I also love how easy it is to clean. The bottom grid catches the crumbs and the piece comes out so you can easily just shake them out. The clear panel that the bread presses on when cutting is is easily removed so you can wash it.And well it just looks attractive on my shelf when stored away. Very happy with mine.

arrived with one wooden slat detached
which suggests it's not super meticulously made. both not properly glued on and wood slightly damaged.
