The material is beyond soft. It is very thin, but still offers great opaque coverage. The sizing is generous and fits a broad range and never seems to feel too tight! extra high waisted, and the waist band is perfectly soft and comfortable. Absolutely zero complaints! I guess pockets would be nice- the variety that have pockets are a thicker material than these.

I'm 6'1", size 18/20, thick thighs/butt and i have an apron belly (felt the description was needed. I have a hard time finding descriptions of clothes that would fit my body type so wanted to help anyone else). Anyway, I got the 8 in shorts, they are long, very high waisted which is great! They are super soft and perfect for lounging and would be great when pregnant or have a belly because they stretch super well! I am a huge fan of the Fabletics Define shorts because they are a thicker material and hold everything in very well! These - while squat proof - are thiner and don't 'snatch' me the way I like or was expecting. I personally wouldn't work out in them because I feel like I would still...jiggle too much lol. Hence, why I like a thicker material. However, I do really like them for casual wear and don't regret my purchase!

UPDATE: After wearing them all for a few weeks and washing (rinse, repeat) I have found that they do infact roll up/slide up a fair amount and I am making a lot of adjustments when out in public to pull them back down. I still will wear them kaykimg or to run an errand but it is a little annoying.OLD: I am 5'7" and 190lb, most weight carried in thighs and lower abdomen. I bought the Large/XL, 5".These shorts don't ride up, they are a good length where I feel comfortable wearing them out, and they are what they say; buttery soft and not see through.. however, you can see panty lines depending on underwear worn due to the thinness/type of the fabric. They are snug enough to confirm but not muffin top or pooch out where you don't want.My negatives: For some reason I thought it had pockets....I wish it had pockets.The tummy control is practically non existent. The shorts go up plenty high but the fabric is too gentle to 'control' anything; it hugs.I would still buy these again. They are comfortable and will be great for lounging, running errands (despite no pockets), and doing some yard work.

Okay so I was super excited for these because I only dress to be comfy. Im a curvy girl and anytime I’ve ordered something, the butt is always see through! I ordered size XXL. I got the 3 pack with the cheetah, black, and navy blue.First off, super freaking soft! Perfect amount of compression but these are in no way something you would use to hold your tummy in. They are high waisted and hug me just right without being super tight. Super stretchy. Definitely a good workout outfit but also perfect for dressing down and throwing on a big T-shirt for the day.Cheetah print is my favorite! It’s not see through!!!Black is really see through :(Navy blue is see through but not as bad as the black.I will still wear the black and blue around the house but if I go out, I’m definitely wearing something to cover my butt.I’m going to order again but this time a size larger just to see if that helps prevent it from being see through. Either way, I’m happy with my purchase and it was worth the money. Sadly this is something I’m used to as a curvy girl.For size reference I’m 5’7 and 239lbs.I will update this when I get the larger size!

I bought these to wear under dresses and cosplays to prevent chafing.When I first pulled them out, I immediately didn't think they would work - they're soft, light, and stretchy. I thought that they would start rolling and pilling instantly.But no! These are amazing! Yes they're soft, stretchy and breathable - but they also stay were they're supposed to and are durable enough to withstand the friction of the cubbiest of thighs.The white pair alone! I wore them all weekend under my cosplay during a convention - no pilling, no rolling, no irritation of any kind! (And that's rare with my usual clothes!)Since the convention, I have been wearing one of these at least every-other-day, if not everyday. I cannot tell you how wonderful it is to be able to wear all of my spring & summer dresses without any fear of pain!Also! Because they just look like regular shorts, there's no uncomfortable pulling/hiding, nor embarrassment when/if they can be seen from under my dress.I will 100% be buying more of these in every colour.
