Good Read
The book is definitely a great Introduction to the topic. It provides examples where Analytic Philosophy has been helpful in providing clarity for understanding more about seemingly simple yet deeply tricky and fun to think about Questions.I certainly recommend reading it 🙂

Convoluted
"Identifying all the relevant possibilities" requires more imagination than most readers will be willing to do in a short introduction. Although I like philosophy in general, I am having a difficult time finishing this book.

Making philosophy, especially philosophy that is essentially mathematics, into a popular subject is a very difficult task. Beaney has done a fair job, but I give the book 4 stars because the balance between popular explanation, and history did not fit my background. I found the summaries of various philosophers interesting, but the examples were too simplified.

Waste of Ink and Paper
The author missed the mark of the intended audience of the Very Short Introduction series. Garbage.
