First I read the label and noticed a caution that said "MAY CAUSE COLOR CHANGE TO CONCRETE". I called the Company in Texas and was quickly connected to to a person who answered my question regarding color change to the granite river rocks in my pond and flowing creek bed, I was advised to place some rocks in a container of dyed water to test before adding the dye to the pond. I found no color change to the rocks I tested.I added a few drops to a 5 gallon Bucket of water and the water instantly turned a deep rich blue. I then rapidly poured the bucket into my pond which has a Black Liner and the color of the water changed as the blue coloring mixed in. I repeated the process until the pond water was reached a deep blue color. Everyone who has seen the Pond comments on how beautiful it looks with the Blue Water.

Fritz Pond Dye works just as well as any of the higher priced products. Greater quantity at lower price!

Useless a complete waste of money could not recomend

I use this in my koi pond to give them shade, protection, and keep algae growth low. My pond is maybe 500-600 gallons and a tiny dribble is all I need. I do wish this came in a smaller bottle. I will never need to purchase another as this will literally last me forever.
