It’s aesthetic over function, y’all
I personally chose this oil burner because it was the cutest one available on Amazon that was still relatively affordable. I knew from the reviews that it would be tiny (see it compared to my standard small size oil burner purchased at a brick and mortar store) and not necessarily the best bang for my buck. Which is fine to me, because visuals>>>. But keep in mind it IS smaller than the standard. If you use silicone cupcake molds for your oil like me, be aware that I honestly struggled to place the mold in the little bowl (which is permanently attached). Also there are some minor cosmetic imperfections on the back, which irked me. But it’s not noticeable from the front obviously, and besides that it IS adorable. I lit a tea candle in it just before I started writing this review. At first there was a weird odor emanating from the burner, but as I write, it has dissipated. So far, so good. If I face any of the issues the other reviewers have faced, I’ll post an update.UPDATE: (I added another photo) I’ve only burned about four candles and it already has irremovable burn marks (I tried). Yeah, I’m not sure this was ever meant to be more than decor!

So disappointing
Look how very small this is, I'm afraid to put a tea candle in it because by it's size it may not work. , haven't tried it yet ,just got it but unfortunately I'm really disappointed.

Waste of money
This item is only of use as a decorative object. with a tea light on the top in the little bowl. I tried with a tea light inside and water with a few drops of oil in the bowl...which I had expected was removable but isn't!....but when I had to blow out the tea light flame there was smoke and soot all over the place, and when trying to clean it, the decoration washed off in spite of my using simply a wet cloth!
