My Fair Lily

A witty and sensual tale peppered with action, drama and suspense. I enjoyed this story so much that I re-read passages several times before moving on in the book. The funny bits really elevated my mood, loved the perfectly, imperfect characters, especially the ever so cute and personality filled Jasper. Meara Platt delivered two solid, fiery and multi-dimensional main characters, that left me with the sound of a Scottish burr in my head, a longing for the Highlands in my heart and the want of a few hat pins at the ready :-)

Sigh! I think I'm in love with Ewan, the brawny Scot with the rambunctious dog. He's determined to protect Lily while he tries to tamp down his attraction to her. She's determined to protect Ewan while she tries to tamp down her attraction to him. It's a delightful romp, and I throughly enjoyed it.

Loved the humorous scenes caused by the actions of the dog.
