Never His Girl: Dark High School Bully Romance

I am devouring this series and CANNOT WAIT for book 3.Love the strong characters. Blue/Southside continues to be an absolute bada$$. The girl has been dealt an awful hand, but she continues to power through. She’s fierce and loyal and throws down when she needs to.West/King Midas really grows a lot in this book. Love seeing his evolution and his fight for Southside.I love this genre and the fact that this series is told in dual POV so we get where both characters are coming from.Gotta say...I really hate Parker Holiday and Vin Golden. Hoping they get theirs in book 3!!

Nope! I tried with these two books but I skipped a lot of pages in this one. I still can't connect with Blues character. The author could've finished this story in this one. Won't be purchasing the next one.

I'm still picking my jaw up off the floor! Definitely NOT a stand alone read. If you've not previously read book one before, I strongly suggest doing so! If book one was like a rollercoaster then this one managed to blow the cart off its rails. My word!!! So many big reveals, warring emotions, potential treachery, and more secrets yet to come by the look of things. By no means is this read even remotely boring! In true fashion I was cheering Blue on every step of the way. I do suggest you don't pick this up on your lunch break or you might scream in frustration at having to put it down to go back to work 😉. I was so into it that I devoured it in one sitting, and I'm not sorry lol. I officially CANNOT WAIT for book three to arrive!!!!

This book, this series... it's so DAMN GOOD! Blue is still reeling from the aftershocks of what she thinks King Midas did to her and seeks comfort in Ricky. West is trying everything he can to set things right for his Blue. These two have a lot of hurdles to overcome and I loved how West is growing with each page. These two throughout all of the ups and downs and fighting I kept rooting for them. UGH!! And Parker has it coming to her. I can't wait for the next book. I have so many unanswered questions and can't wait for more of these two.

I knew something would go wrong; that something would mess up what we readers have been craving, but man...!!Once again, this book hooked me from start to finish. I never stopped until I finished Never His Girl, and now that I have, I’m not sure what to do with myself. This story was even better than before. All the angst, the secrets, the lies, the TRUTH!Things seemed like they were going to Hell in a hand basket for Blue for a while there, and then West vindicated himself, giving me so much hope........and then the end of the book came! 😩😩😩😩Now I have to wait until June 2021 to find out how Blue is going to do what West’s evil father has demanded she do. I’m sure West won’t take it without a fight. Let’s hope he knows our NewGirl is being coerced.....All I know is, I’m going to be stalking the release of Book 3. Bring. It. On!

More secrets and more drama. Hold on to your seats....you're in for a crazy ride!!!Book 2 of West and Blues story is crazy and twisted. The Secrets keep coming. West and Blue are playing a cat and mouse game. West messed up and he knows he messed up. But trying to win Blue might be a lost cause.Never His Girl was amazing! I'm excited to start the final book to Blue and West's story and get all of my questions answered!

I love Blue. She tries so hard. Life is against her. I knew that it was going to be a cliffhanger and was worried about the ones going through my mind as I got towards the end of book. So glad it was not a bad one I was worried about. Thank you. Can’t wait for the conclusion

Blue and West have more drama than a K-drama. How can they get past the video, a vindictive ex, and angry fathers!?!?! Alk you need to know is that Rachel and Nikki figure out a way to make it happen. He shows his softer side, and she learns to stand up for herself. That's just the beginning. To get the rest of the story, you will have to read the book.

Holy freaking what!!!! This story just gets even more intense. It had me hooked from the first page and damn I’m so glad we get to see a different side to our West! The relationship between Blue and West grows in this book and some secrets start to come to light but I have even more questions and soooo much hate for Vin Golden!!!!!!! And yep you guessed it we still don’t know who Pandora is!I cannot wait for the next instalment of blue and west’s story because I need to see vin pay

I jumped straight into book 2 of this series after the cliffhanger at the end of book 1. Likewise, Blue dives straight into the minefield back at school after the tape of her and West has been posted on social media. Again, I don’t feel the author handled this well. It was a bit predictable that Blue was labelled a slut and put on probation while West got off scot free and without judgement thanks to his dear, rich daddy.Again, Blue shows shows won’t be brought down by the judgemental and hypocritical lemmings, but she’s still salivating over West, even though she claims to hate his guts.So, the reader has to get though tons more teenage angst with characters who couldn’t communicate effectively if they tried, yet like to ramble on with inner monologue that drags the story out more than necessary.Blue lost a few points on my respect scale in this one because she moaned about not letting West in again, but did so at the earliest opportunity. Then she goes on a jealousy fuelled rampage based solely on a picture, making her no better than West. He, however, makes an excellent job of grovelling to try to earn her trust again, even though he doesn’t help himself by still withholding stuff from her.I’ve also worked out what caused my dissatisfaction with the first book, because it happens in this one too. While there’s a ton of internal monologue that should help the reader connect with the characters, it’s all very repetitive and superficial. Blue goes back and forth over the same issues yet doesn’t really grow or change. We do get to dig a bit deeper with West in this one, and he does seem to want to learn from his mistakes, change, and be better for Blue.Anyway, they finally manage to have a decent conversation and open up to each other. We get answers for some of the questions raised in the first book, and a bit more information to further the suspense regarding others. Blue forgives him and I don’t have a problem with that because, as I mentioned before, I didn’t think the incidents he was directly responsible for were too bad. Yes, they were annoying, but not soul destroying. The couple settle into things being nice and loved up for them both, then guess what? Another predictable plot line ensues when dad gets involved with some lovely threats and blackmail.The heat levels are upped in this book with plenty more hot and heavy adventures, but in general the plot is slow paced and could have been condensed quite a bit to improve that. There’s another cliffhanger at the end, but I’m not rushing into reading book three as I did with this one.

I knew West would have a lot of grovelling to do and i didn’t know if he had it in him but he knew what he felt for Blue was different to anything he’s felt before. I love their feisty relationship and hoping they can overcome anything thrown at them.

So good, absolutely loving this series, love the characters the banter and all the twists and turns. Can't wait for next book!
